pretty sure that performance was maybe 75% pre-recorded. the strings, all the ambient sounds and backing vocals (in parts, especially the end) for sure, there was maybe a bit more of the church bell in this version but i'm convinced jonny was doing nothing on the keyboard and playing a little bit of guitar. will's fake backing vocals were pretty cringeworthy too...

i was queing since about 2ish and iwas trying to figure out how i recognised some people cos i didn't think it was anyone off the official board and then as we were all stood on the barrier that most of them were people from here! GazeboflossUK i was the guy stood next to you in the first que :P

really? because i don't like some songs on x&y? so even though in decemeber i'll be seeing them for the 5th time this year i'm still not a true fan?

but thinking about it, i don't like x&y as much. in fact it has some songs on there that i don't like. that must be why i'm not a true fan

i doubt that they are writing for anything particular i have a feeling that they will do the same thing they did in around 2003, begin to write songs again and soundcheck them or start putting them into the set (give it a while before this though) also i think with coldplay they record all the b-sides at the album session.

i think that they will say its a really good idea, but they are already commited to touring at the moment and won't be able to take the time off to do it.
