I like this band. I have yet to buy either albums because there are just other albums that are higher on my "must buy or die" list.

I watched a lot of music videos from about 2-8. My mom had a few 33s, but I don't remember listening to them that often, but I think I'm going to do that this weekend. See if I can find some good music. I'm black and my mom used to have a lot of good old skool r&b and soul stuff, but her basement flooded and a lot of those record got destroyed. Not the point... When I was about 9 years old, my friend Cory introduced me to Green Day and "Dookie" was the first cassette I bought that was mine and that album literally rocked my world because I had always wanted to be a musician but this album and the movie, "That thing you do" really sealed the deal for me. Now, the only MTV I watch is MTV2 and I watch stuff like Subterranean and that's it. I mostly try to find music on my own by getting recommendations from other artists I like, to reading Pitchforkmedia, tiny mix tapes, researching and listening to the clips on Amazon.com. I don't listen to the radio unless it's like music from the 50s/60s/70s. I've been trying to get into Dick Dale and a lot of jazz and blues. I'm really can't wait to start building a jazz and blues collection. I hope I can find some stuff I really enjoy.

I bought the album, but that's so not cool how they totally debo-ed a Strokes' song title. Hahaha! :lol:

Beck- Midnite Vultures Blur- Think Tank Coldplay Live 2003 CD/DVD The Dandy Warhols- Welcome to the Monkey House (I'm def. trading this in!) Jack Johnson- On and On Jet- Get Born (They're sort of an AC/DC ripoff but they're fun) The Strokes- Room On Fire I feel like I'm missing one, but I can't think of what it is. Oh, well.

I only listened to the album once, but there's something really off about it. I'm going to buy it so I can figure out what it is that is so off. I didn't really like Morning View at first either, lyrically. It seemed Boyd was just trying to hard to sound profound, but it grew on me. I don't listen to it a lot now, but it's great fun to listen to in the summer while Make Yourself is more of a fall/winter album for me.

Jeez. They need to get with the program. Kwanza is where it's at, ya'll!!!!!!

Bottlenecks look cooler, dude. :lol: Ok, I'm just playing. I have no clue. I'm sorry that I'm no help. Anyhoo, I don't think it would make that big of a difference, but maybe so since they mentioned that he actually used a bottleneck.

Nikon FM10 or N75 SLR Camera and a keyboard. Some random DVDs and CDs would do too. Oh, yes! A REAL CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!!!!!! :cry:

:lol: Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I saw "Frat Rock". Hahaha. I used to like both of those bands too. I don't know what the hell I was thinking at the time. Oh, yes.... Puddle of Mudd's line, "I love the way you spank my ass."

I thought the Eminem Show was quite repetitive as far as lyrics go, but what do I know, right?

See, I knew as soon I heard that Gwyneth Paltrow was seen at one of their shows a long time ago, that she would end up dating him, but this baby thing sure is quite a surprise. Haha. As Keanu would said, "Whoa!" Anyhoo, sounds excellent.

I like them both. I've been a fan of Matchbox Twenty longer, and I really liked Rob Thomas' acoustic piano version of 3 AM... so I'll pick him.
