  6. A shockingly beautiful, moving, touching story. It's set in the 1930's when the so-called half-castes (half aboriginal-half white children) were separated from their families and were transported to be trained for domestic servants. The big plan was to bread them out. They thought that within 3 generations all the signs of their 'Aboriginality' would disappear. The film is about three girls being taken away, their escape and their 1500 miles long journey home. ON FOOT! It's really sad and moving. For me, as a European, this worls was hidden and was never taught about this in school. I see it as a Down Under semi-Holocaust... and it was the case until only 30 years ago! I recommend it to everyone, a beautiful, but very sad movie!!
  7. Woo hoo Kat! Love is in the air! DO TELL!!

  9. I second Missie there. And at least he plays an instrument and can do without playback recordings. I think their music is gonna get more mature day by day, have to give it time and defo more listening the better. And no Chris Martin's not God, Bono is! MUHAHAHAHA!!!!

  11. We never lit a tree on fire, nothing ever went pear-shaped really. But I was looking at pictures the other day, and me in it, dressed up nicely and everything, the only problem is, that my hair was too short and what I thought then was cool it looks more like Kurt Russell from Stargate now. You know, the army kinda flat-top! OUCH!
  12. Or Rhys Ifans
  13. Re: so what's ok for chris martin isn't for me??
  14. Re: so what's ok for chris martin isn't for me?? I don't think you have the right to call anyone ignorant here. The thing is trolling does not get my respect either. We are discussing things here, have arguments, don't always agree, but we also take responsibilities for our actions and don't just lurk around! Coming here, saying your things and then disappear! That's just slagging and that's a big NO-NO! What kind of replies were you expecting really?
  15. LMAO! The same thing seems to happen to good tracks nowadays. I haven't heard it yet, not sure if I want to!
