Radiohead
Actually some Coldplay fans are fucked up too. And some U2 fans. And some Blur fans. It's just a question of people, not of the band.

Poets
That's not my poem, of course, but it's a Vladimir Nabokov's translation of the great Fyodor Tyutchev's poem "Silentium!" I love it so here it goes... Silentium! Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal the way you dream, the things you feel. Deep in your spirit let them rise akin to stars in crystal skies that set before the night is blurred: delight in them and speak no word. How can a heart exprеssion find? How should another know your mind? Will he discern what quickens you? A thought once uttered is untrue. Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred: drink at the source and speak no word. Live in your inner self alone within your soul a world has grown, the magic of veiled thoughts that might be blinded by the outer light, drowned in the noise of day, unheard... take in their song and speak no word.

Rate the latest movie you've seen
28 Days Later That was nice :cheesy: I love that Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are together again  It was fun to watch I must say. Didn't read the book though.

What are you thinking right now?
Nah that actually was pretty good. First of all, I was in the first row and I could see drums so well.... What else do I need?... Drums... Besides, they were perfoming some somebody else's songs, like Travis, for example :uneasy: And, finally, I got free drinks so what the fuck.

What are you thinking right now?
I'm going on a Brainstorm concert tonight :uhoh2: I guess the only sane reason is that I don't have to pay for the ticket

The Day of Fighting with AIDS
Huh.... That's weird.... I thought that if even in Russia people talk about that then there must be at least a mention in other countries. There's even a concert in my city today.... Nothing special, just some bands (Splean ), but this concert is also related to the AIDS day. And we have all these red ribbons on every corner.

Best Muse Album
As I've always been thinking, Showbiz is their best one. It actually made me a fan of Muse some time ago. Now I'm not anymore but if I ever will listen to Muse again it will only be Showbiz.

Elliott Smith
*bump* We need more Elliott love here  By the way, does anyone know where can I find at least some of perfomances from that memorial concert at the Music Box at the Fonda Theater? The 5th of November, 2003.... Like, Beck or Lou Barlow?....

What are the bands that you stopped listening to !?
Uh. You have to be a brave person to honestly confess :laugh1: The least ashming bands were Blur which I still listen to sometimes but not as much as I used to... Also The Queen... Yeah I don't think I listen to them now.... But my dad made me a fan when I was about 8 haha... No Doubt  ermm... and I can recall I was listening to RHCP :uhoh: And there're some Russian bands which I won't name here :dead: PS. Ow. And I also liked some HIM stuff :cry2:

How dangerous is Christmas really?
Heh yeah... Though there were many unknown people that were talking in Polish all the time :uhoh:

How dangerous is Christmas really?
Haha I totally love how we all start making Christmas threads on the 1st of December :nice: That's some funny story, Jules :laugh1: I mean, it's very dangerous and I'm sorry to laugh but I can picture you running in burning trouses around the X-mas tree so well  Yeah, I'm rude, sorry. All I can recall now is that crazy thing that happened to me on the first night of 2003 (yeah, that wa s a New Year night, not the Christmas eve. But we clebrate NY too, so anyways) when I had to go back home form Poland with my friends and sister but something was wrong with the bus and we had to celebrate NY right there, in the bus  It actually was pretty sad 'cause I was planning to celebrate it in Russia with my parents and all.... But the good thing is that it was a great night, I mean, that's one of the things you never forget. Of course, it could be the usual NY evening with tasty food and family and presents and all.... But what you really can recall through the years is something special, like that crasy NY in the bus somewhere in the middle of Poland with 'bounties' and good friends next to you *feels touched* :nice:

2006>Coming To An End:
This year was a special music year for me  First of all, I fell complately in love with Radiohead.... And now I can't even imagine how could I live without them, huh. Second, I discovered for myself Elliott Smith. And that's really important for me in many many ways. (Hail to Walts # 1 and Between The bars...) And Sigur Ros... And Sufjan Stevens... Awwww.... Hm. What about movies.... Hmm... There were many good ones :nice: I think the most impressive was MPIE :laugh1: Ok, and Dear Wendy that I've seen for the very first time... Thanks to all Jackson Pollock's paintings  The WC was a nice event too :shy: Too bad Sweden sucked, but who cares, Klose all the way  Ermm... And the most inspiring thing is that that's my last school year ever  I guess that's the most important things that happened to me... Well, there were some more, of course, but I don't wanna talk about that so ta-tda

The Day of Fighting with AIDS
I'm almost sure I spelled it wrong but I'm also sure you get what I mean. Today is the international day of fighting with AIDS. I just want to know if there was anything special AIDS connected in your country today. Like, we had a lecture in school. It was about relations between people with AIDS and healthy people. How it's important to not discriminate people with AIDS, because they're also people and their sickness is not the reason for aversion and all. They also were talking about sexual relationship with such people, how we all should use condoms and all that stuff. Nothing new to tell the truth but I'm glad that Russian schools don't ignore that problem. Though I'm not sure any of the children and teens in my school were interested in this lecture. All they were happy about is that they didn't have to go to the maths.

Are you single?
Oh Jules. I guess we all want to have someone like that next to ourselves. Someone who understands you and all.... And someone you would be able to tell everything you want to, about your problems or some thoughts without thinking he'd think it's stupid and all... Uh but where do we find such people?... By the way, don't say you're not pretty. You're not a standart beauty, but hell, who is? Besides, nothing can be more disgusting than ordinarity (if that word exists). You do look very nice, trust me :smug: I'm sure you'll find your soulmate soon

Are you single?
Heh I love your honesty so much. I'm single and I guess I find it more bad than good... I'm not even talking about having a boyfriend or something, just a really close friend would be enough. Though I get your point about feeling free to look at all the guys as potential boyfriends, Jules :laugh1: It's funny. Not really though.

'Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior and Get a Free PlayStation 3!'
Haha 'suuure'? If I believed this site, would I post it here and would my first post look like it looks like?... Anyways. That's not about stupid kids. That's about evil adults.
-
'Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior and Get a Free PlayStation 3!'
Erm.... Yeah, I actually know it. That's why I posted it here and that's why I'm so worried about kids who really do believe this site and take their parents's credit cards in hope Jesus will send them a videogame.
-
'Accept Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior and Get a Free PlayStation 3!'
This is a madness to tell the truth. Can't believe some kids really believe these people... http://www.landoverbaptist.org/news1206/ps3.html What a nice generation's growing up.

What's your favourite sport?
Yeah watching football is something.... I'm a football fan since I was 8 and I saw the World Cup for the first time :smug: It was probably the best summer in my life so far... Anyway, I'd love to play football well too, but I just hate it when boys say something about girls who play football.... You know, something like 'hay, go and make us some coffee, girlie' :dozey: fucking sexists Though I wouldn't be any good anyway, I've got a weak breathing... By the way, love swimming too :nice:
-
What's your favourite sport?
Well.... I like to watch football  But I can't really play football well.... I suck, huh. And some biathlon on TV is always a pleasure to watch :nice: What about playing.... hmmm..... Well, billiards
