10/10 I love how short Parachutes is. Its just to the point. :D That's just my opinion though. um....How about...........What If.

My acoustic is really old. My grandfather actually made it himself. But it's starting to warp and it makes me really sad cuz I love playing it. He used to play it all the time and he gave it to me before he died. Are there places that do work on old guitars? Anyways, I think I'm gonna stop at GuitarWorld tonight and take a look at some of the ones you guys mentioned.

Yeah if X&Y was the album that got you hooked on Coldplay than I can see why the other too will take some getting used to. But don't worry. I would love to see What If as a video. But It's probably going to be White Shadows. I see What If as a really dark video. Not dark as in scary but dark as in like...very little light. Sort of like the beginning of GPASUYF. I can picture it its just hard to explain. Very surreal though.

That's what I thought the title of the album was refering to for a while. The X&Y Chromosomes. But then I did my research... :D I can see the puzzle references in X&Y. There are definitelly quite a bit, but I don't think that was their intention.

Love the song. The lyrics are very touching if you really listen to them. It's one of those special coldplay songs to me cuz I can very much relate to it and it just touches me in a special way. ....yeah that's right. Coldplay touches me in special ways....I mean....

Proof reminds me a lot of Angels by robbie williams...at least the opening. And everytime I hear Daylight the opening riff makes me think of Blue Man Group. Blue Man Group rocks by the way. See that show if you can. But yeah those are the similarities I see. And I agree with the REM comparisons. Rock..

Hey Nettie Have you found anything new? As far as TV spots I mean? I've missed so many TV appearances cuz my apartment was being repaired. Had to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks. Anything new would be awesome. :)

Well, I read a response from Debs to a question someone asked about it on the official site. I think they're boggled that it managed to get out. She also said they have absolutely no plans of re-releasing it. I'm not sure they're actually upset, just a little surprised. But I could be wrong.

I love this song. The melody is great. The beat is great. The hygene is great. Its weird though, everyone keeps saying it doesn't sound anything like Coldplay, but I think it does for some reason, just more raw. I must be dumb or something. I love how Chris' voice sounds even more warbly than normal. ...Time to listen to him sing about Aerosol again...

Hey all, I'm gonna be investing in a guitar soon. What I wanted to ask advice on was this. I'm looking for a good investment in all the equipment that will help me get a grasp on Jonny's sound. I tried asking in a nother thread but I got no answers. I'm pretty new to guitar, so I don't really know anything about the pedals and other crazy shite that goes with them. Some explanations would be awesome and whatever else anyone can give me. I really appreciate it.
