I Ran Away Lyrics
Awesome! Let us know if you find anything out! I'd love to get the officials. Speaking of which, the boys need to release a b-sides collection, including any b-sides from Viva of course.

I Ran Away Lyrics
Tell me about it. That's what it all SOUNDS like to me, but some parts don't make sense. I dunno. Guess it's a lost cause.

I Ran Away Lyrics
Yeah that seems pretty close. Except I swear he's saying "my belly is so full" instead of "my isn't so full" lol. I also do know he's saying "Will" not "well" at the beginning, as sort of an intro queue to Will Champion's solo drum intro. Anyone else got any ideas? lol.

I Ran Away Lyrics
Hey all! Man, it's been a LONG time since I've been here, at least two years. It's good to be back! I'm looking for the correct lyrics to "I Ran Away". I know it's a b-side and there's no official written document showing the lyrics Chris wrote himself, but the lyrics i find on most lyric sites just don't seem right in some places. For instance, in one like, most lyrics sites say: And when I heard you call "Come back to me" I distinctly hear: And when I heard you call To come back to you I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the popular lyric pages have a few parts wrong. I hope someone can help! Thanks!

Johnny Cash...
Awesome...so I did some reasearch. Cash released an album before he died entitled, American IV: The Man Comes Around where he covers several other artists songs including the Beatles, Sting, NIN, and the Eagles, and then some original songs by himself. It sounds really good. I might just get it.

Johnny Cash...
Johnny Cash's "Hurt" Has anyone heard the song Hurt by Johnny Cash? It's really a heartbreaking song. I don't think I can think of a song filled with more dispair. But It's SO beautiful. The simplicity of it coupled with Cash's raspy, sullen voice makes it one of the most moving songs I've heard in a while. Anyways, just thought I'd throw it out there.

any classically trained musicians?
My family has always been very music oriented so this is going to sound pretty nuts. But I assure you its all true... I was classically trained in piano for 5 years, I've been playing for 13 years. I was classically trained in Clarinet for 4 years, Alto Clarinet for a year, and Bass Clarinet for a year. Trained in voice for about a year or so and I'm still working on it...um, then I'm self taught in Drums, Guitar, Bass... But the only one I'm really good at is piano...and I guess my voice is okay. Classical training is great to have as a base but in reality I think you get a better and more full grasp on how music and the instrument itself works if you're self taught with a basic classical training, cuz its all experimentation. Trial and error. And such.
