Yup :) --> EastEnders favourites Alfie and Kat are to marry next year, according to the Star On Sunday today. The pair have recently got together after months of struggling with their feelings for each other. Producers of the soap had originally planned to split them up but have now changed their minds and want the romance to be a long-term one. They plan to install the duo as "the new Den and Angie Watts" in the Queen Vic following the wedding, which is planned for next summer. "Weddings have always had big ratings on EastEnders," an insider told the newspaper. "There will be lots of ups and downs for Kat and Alfie but viewers will be gripped by the story of how they finally get married."
