  1. I'll have to look for it on Amazon, I can't imagine how awesome surround sound would sound on that album
  2. Totally, Batman The Dark Knight by far
  3. Heck yes, I think they may already have a thread here though. I have a question though, I heard that you can buy a CD of Fear of A Blank Planet in surround sound, is that true?
  4. Oh also, does anyone know if music will be in surround sound? I am kind of confused with audio stuff.
  5. I have a PS3 and a tube T.V. that supports S-video but not HDMI. My receiver can support up to Fiber Optical Digital for the best sound. I want to use the PS3 for games, movies, and music. Therefore, Is my best setup going to be S-video for the video and Fiber Optical Digital for the audio? Or is there a better option? Also will I be able to play Blu-Ray movies? I have surround sound, and want the best quality possible for both movies, music, and games.
  6. If people truly want to get movie reviews, than they should and will go to rottentomatoes.com, not this thread of the coldplay forum
  7. Most of Damien Rice is pretty simple and beautiful.
  8. True, Electic Light Orchastra is awesome,
  9. I think the Coldplay condoms should at least reference to The Hardest Part. If you had to choose something to put on a Coldplay condom, what would it be? Maybe, "I could feel it go down, Bittersweet I could taste in my mouth"
  10. I felt like the music was similar to a Dave Matthew's song, the way the melody unravels.
  11. ^ Great Idea, can either a mod or the person who made this thread make a poll!
  12. This wasn't exactly the most realistic Bond movie either, I mean their parachute was open for 3 seconds, before they landed safely in a rocky cave
  13. Damien Rice and Sufjan Stevens, both are great and are similar to Coldplay acoustically. I've always thought if Coldplay became an acoustic act, theyd sound similar to Damien Rice
  14. For me, the best album hands down has to be Sigur Ros ( ). First of all its definitely a grower, it went from meaning absolutely nothing to me, to meaning everything. Those are the best albums for me, the ones that build up and take forever to enjoy, but then it's majestic once you enjoy it.
  15. I think sea cucumbers are very poisonous, so I don't think anyone should eat them
  16. 1. COLDPLAY- VIVA LA VIDA 2. SIGUR ROS- Me› Su› í Eyrum Vi› Spilum Endalaust 3. Vampire Weekend- Vampire Weekend 4. Keane- Perfect Symmetry 5. Elbow- The Seldom Seen Kid
  17. Yeah, I've introduced so many of my friends to Sigur Ros. My girlfriend loves them almost as much as I do.
  18. I speak two English and Vonlenska ( this is the made up language Sigor Ros uses in some of their songs)
  19. 3rd party isn't a choice, because they'll never win. Its not logical to vote for someone who won't stand a chance at winning. Congress needs to change the electoral college system, then it would be reasonable and logical to vote 3rd party
  20. I'm such an idiot, my bad I meant Lovers In Japan, they didn't play Reign of Love
  21. I wanted something new to be played! Chris made a comment that he was going to play a rare B-side that noone would ever have heard before, but then he broke out into an encore of Yellow! The crowd didn't seem too energetic, I mean everyone was satisfied, but not everyone was ecstatic like me and my girlfiend were....
  22. Highlights were the confetti in LOVERS IN JAPAN and Politik was by far one of the best songs they played! The stobes were amazing at the Q, the lighting effects, everything was perfect. Chris made a hilarious comment about how the band members were getting old, they needed to start investing in wigs like Cher (he said this with a towel on his head). He said he was just going to try it out for a bit
  23. Just got back from the show! Amazing These are probably in the wrong order Heres the setlist as far as I can remember 1. Life in Technicolor 2. Violet Hill 3. Clocks 4. In My Place 5. Speed of Sound 6. Chinese Sleep Chant (almost forgot about this one) 7. 42 8. Fix You 9. Cemetaries of London ( amazing I can't believe they played this!) 10. God Put A Smile on Your Face Techno Remix 11. Talk Techno Remix 12. Hardest Part (piano) 13. Postcards from far away 14. Viva La Vida 15. Lost 16. Strawberry Swing 17. The Scientist (acoustic) 18. Death Will Never Conquer (Acoustic) 19. Viva La Vida Remix Interlude 20. Politik 21. Lover's in Japan 22. Death and All His Friends 23. Yellow 24. The Escapist There was some little classical piece that Chris played after Politik that was really quite interesting, I don't think it was Glass of Water, but it was only for a minute and a half
  24. Anyone else dissapointed by either the new Travis album and/or Ben Folds album, I don't think they'll be making the top 2008 albums list
