  1. This is the kind of crowd we had to deal with at the concert. Such a bummer...
  2. Ok. Watch these videos...LOL When I saw the first one, I thought Coldplayer. They looked like they were getting into Yellow and I was annoyed at the guy recording who looks like he was sitting down. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eykFM0wj9Q8&feature=related]‪Douche at Coldplay Concert - part 1‬‏ - YouTube[/ame] Then when I watched the second one, I agree with the guy who recorded it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLjquVWyw9w&feature=related]‪Douche at Coldplay Concert - part 2‬‏ - YouTube[/ame] and I totally agree with the guy who recorded. For talking the entire time and the way he is talking to the girl? The guy is a total ass...
  3. I resent the pm. Didn't hit send the first time. Duh.
  4. We had Coldplay to watch! And we did lots of driving around - welcome to California! I miss you!
  5. Hi Karalayne, I sent you a PM with the email that I sent ticketmaster. I don't think there is really anything they can do but I did tell them that I think it was false advertising. Before the order history is gone, I also saved and also printed out a copy of my receipt that says our seats were "loge seating full-view."
  6. Thanks for the video. You've been lurking a long time! ;)
  7. Oh, don't think I didn't seriously think about it! But we'd just sat down at BJs, and unless you cornered him for like 15 minutes, there's no way :( I'll just have to find him next time! Congrats - He seems like such a nice guy.
  8. I can't BELIEVE you were asked to sit down! The people behind me sat and talked loudly through the whole show, while I sang and danced the whole night. Then they had the nerve to ask my husband to take their picture during Viva. Like they were some great fans or something. Then when it ended, they acted all sad that it was over. So I turned around and said, "no they will play 3 more songs, Clocks, Fix You and ETIAW." They were SHOCKED that I knew that., but then said that they knew I must be a big fan because I knew all the words to all the songs. They had no idea who they were talking to. :laugh3:
  9. Aww, you're sweet to say that about my kids. And thank you for putting up with two 12 year old girls! Robin is now a convert. My husband is not inclined to give out the details of the urinal encounter, lol. Being female, I have no idea of proper urinal etiquette, but I was told it does not entail striking up a conversation with a stranger. :dead: Have a great time at Lolla!!! We will have to do the CA Road Trip 2012!!! And let me know if you happen to change your mind about Austin. We'd love to hang out again.
  10. Well, that British crowd at the Roundhouse weren't so great either.
  11. Great story Imelda! It was nice to meet you too :) We were in that group that saw the band, we didn't take pictures, though. I kind of wish we would have, but oh well... So cool about talking to Phil. We saw Miller and said hi to him but he seemed to be in a hurry, and rushed off.
  12. Everyone gets to talk to Will except meeeeee....
  13. I know other talk show hosts have surprised audiences by busing them to special performances or screenings so it didn't seem unusual to me if he had bused his studio audience to the concert.
  14. Here is my "full view" non-view. And when we could see Chris. At least we could see Will. From my daughter's and Kelly's seats. Us Against The World. Jonny and Guy were really on stage!
  15. I've only seen them in LA/Orange County, and the crowds were never this bad. I just watched the Jimmy Kimmel interview and lead in. I didn't realize he BUSSED his whole audience to the concert! Maybe that's why there were so many people who didn't give a rip. I don't know...I loved seeing them again, loved the new songs, loved running into them "behind the scenes," but I really think they feed off the crowd, and this crowd sucked, except for the few Coldplayers I could see dancing and who at least knew the beats of the songs! We were in Row 15, Sec 2, then moved down to like row 9, but we could see so many people just not getting into it. I think it would have been better if all the tickets had been sold. At least when you buy at ticket and you're spending your own money, you have *some* interest to make that effort. Oh well...I'll be seeing them many more times in the future and can't wait for their tour to start!
  16. It was so disappointing...sigh...But I"ve seen them many times. I'm uploading some of my crappy pictures now, so I'll have some. At least I had a good view of Will. But still. Couldn't see any of the lighting, graphics, nothing. It was fun, though, and I danced and sang while the losers around me just sat and talked and played with their phones. I'm going to see them in Austin next month, and will do what I can to be up front. My daughter and Kelly's seats had a full view, and now my daughter is a fan :) So something good came out of it all. Her facebook status" "Thanks a lot, mom. I love Coldplay now." My work is done. :laugh3:
  17. I was NOT happy that my "full view" was NOT a full view in Section 2. :( I'm going to write Ticketmaster about it. Not sure they will/can do anything, but it was SO disappointing that I could only see Will (Ok, will is NOT disappointing at all!) but I couldn't see Jonny or Guy at all, and only saw Chris because he moves around :( I understand it was a benefit, and all, but paying that much to not be able to see? SO not happy about it.
  18. You're so lucky. I was dying when you texted me about meeting Will!
  19. Was my son behaving? Lol. His friend, Erin, was so excited and we have a new Berryman lover.
  20. Fun night. The good: Meeting several Coldplayers, Tracey (duh - she stayed with me.) Kelly, Imelda, Julie, Jason, Ro, Heide. Missed finding Erick, but kept in touch by text. Watching two songs soundcheck Seeing Miller, and other roadies we recognized Seeing Jimmy Kimmel walking through the tunnel where we saw the band Being in the right place at the right time, and seeing the band walk right past us, on the way to and from meeting with the Grammy Foundation people. Made eye contact with Will, got a huge smile from Jonny and a wave from Chris Watching my husband come out of the men's room, saying, "Guy was in there." The gorgeous night. The bad: The crowd sucked. A few got into it, but for the most part, people just stood there, sat down or talked or texted. Especially the people behind me, who sat and talked the whole show, standing only for Viva. Chris did very little talking. Didn't seem like he did the usual band shoutouts like he usually does, either. There were a LOT of empty seats. Our $150 seats were horrible :(. Totally obstructed view. We ended up having a few extra free tickets, and sold them. We kept our bought tickets, thinking the location was good. They were close but our view was totally blocked by the speaker tower and Samsung banner. Great view of Will, but didn't see Guy or Jonny at all. Chris moves around so we got glimpses of him. There was a video screen but the image was reversed, kind of disconcerting to see Jonny playing "left handed." My daughter's seats were next to Kelly's, farther back, but better view, so Tracey squeezed in with them, in the bench seating. Other sections were noted on Ticketmaster as having obstructed views, and the price reflected that, but not Sec 2. So I was very disappointed by that. But it was a fun night. I need to go through my pictures and see if there are any decent ones to share.
  21. The crowd sucked. Kind of a bummer because I had a great time.
  22. The crowd sucked. Loved the show though. More later.
  23. Go here at 3:30. Lineup is on the soccer field. We are 16th in line. We were getting food and missed part of soundcheck, but watched over a fence and saw HLH and IMP. The band were facing the sun and it's hot! I spoke to the Samsung guy and there is a designated section for free tickets. But he wouldn't tell me where. Tickets will be distributed by your place in line. There are 1500 free tickets. At 5:45, there are about 250 people in line now.
