I don't know. On a good day, it's an hour and twenty minute drive from South Orange County. At first, I was thinking of leaving at 2, but maybe we'll go up earlier...If we're there too early, we can just walk around the campus and Westwood. It will be Tracey, me, my 15 year old son Matt, and his friend Erin. My husband is coming later with our 12 year old daughter Robin and her friend. Her friend is flying home from a vacation and lands at LAX at 2. My husband is meeting her and her dad near the airport to pick her up.

The GA Pit looks pretty small to me. I figured it out that there are 810 actual floor seats, in the 200s and 300s sections. The pit looks way smaller. There have actually been a lot of pit tickets on stubhub, but they go VERY fast. The people who won the tickets from Samsung have a printed voucher. Those will be exchanged for actual seats at the venue, according to the email reply I received from Samsung when I emailed them asking where the free seats were - I wanted to know if they were "better" than our section 2 seats. But I'm not taking a chance, Sec. 2 is pretty darn good and I'm not sellling them because I know I would be sick if the free tickets were in one of the back sections. If I do find out that our free tickets are better than the ones I paid for, I'll try to sell them there, I suppose. If they don't sell, well, there is my donation to the Grammy Foundation.

That's the million dollar question...

I will be there along with about 20 other Coldplayers! We can't wait!!!

Ohhh. I don't know. What do your tickets look like? Do they have a barcode with a 5 digit number and then a letter? The ones I won and printed out myself are blue tickets, but my name is in black. I hope you didn't get scammed :(

Hahaha. It's because of my iPhone. I'm never far from cp'ing. This concert is extra special to me. During the VLV tour, I saw the first "real" show at the Forum. I saw a few more shows during the tour. Then the "miracle" happened and I won tickets to their show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine - 10 minutes from my house (of course, I'd already bought tickets) but these tickets came with a meet and greet. Yes, I died. Lol Chris came over to say hi to my husband and me and then I saw Will and ditched Chris. Talking to Will, I died again. Amazing show, the pics are in the link in my sig. Then I decided that I needed to go to the very last VLV show in Tampa, 3 weeks later. I started hanging out on that board, "met" some awesome people AND had a ga pit ticket. I was set. Ticket and cp'er meetup, with Tracey, too. Then, when I was in the air, the concert was cancelled :(. I spent the day in Tampa with KSpillers2- Kelly, and 2 other fans. But no Coldplay. So this upcoming concert is the first time I will be seeing them since the night I met them. AND Tracey is coming to stay with me, and Kelly is coming too :)

I saw Muse last year at the Honda Center. Such a great show!

Yes, you can bet they're not flying coach! They'll be in those cool sleeper pods. We flew home from Tokyo 2 years ago, and it was so nice to be in business class. Definitely helped with jet lag to be able to sleep somewhat comfortably.

Thanks, it stopped raining here, thankfully. Im not a big fan of sitting through rainy soccer games!
