Gwyneth...
she looks BEAUTIFUL in those pictures...nice to see her in beautiful, non-questionable dresses again. and...:cheesy: I LOVE this week's GOOP! i've been debating getting a flip camcorder for a year now, and i'm drooling over the personalized notebooks :D. let's hope gwyneth doesn't get chris the tiffany cufflinks or the cashmere socks...i don't think he'd ever use either . and her favorite chocolates in the world are bridgewater chocolates?!?! :stunned: THEY'RE MADE IN MY HOMETOWN! i have friends that work there :nice:

Coldplay Still Looking to do 2009 Album
^they'll WORK on new material at the end of 2009? meaning it won't be OUT then? that would make more sense to me...after the UK shows in september 2009, go back into the studio and record for a longish time and then come out with a new album sometime in 2010 or 2011.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
any wonder we have the same seasons associated with the same albums? :P  interestingly enough, i heard ALL coldplay albums for the first time in the summer (well ok, VLVOD technically in the spring, but really, to me june is a summer month, and AROBTTH i *heard* a lot in the fall of 2003, but i wasn't *listening*). my point is that even though i heard them all in the summer for the first time, they're all pretty distinctly associated with different seasons to me (VLVOD could apply to either summer or spring, though :P)

Coldplaying Advent Calender
agggh, i wish i lived at home. and i'm a slow eater like whoa. and i basically never clean my plate. it's horrible. i know what you mean about pre-christmas exams, because knowing that i can't do any work over christmas break even if i WANTED to will be a wonderful feeling. however, i feel so busy right now that i wonder if that feeling will be worth it later. i'm dangerously apathetic towards schoolwork right now, and i feel after a month-long break, i'd be a bit more inspired to actually try again for a bit :P

Coldplay Still Looking to do 2009 Album
 i always get a kick out of the forum being referred to as lavishly carpeted. it's just one of those things that will never cease to make me smile. ANYWAY... i know they keep talking about a 2009 release, and they might have some grand master plan to get it done, but unless they have a good portion of it already in the can and unless they bust their buns all summer (providing they don't do any tours between the one in oz and the one in the UK in september 09), i don't see anything happening until early 2010 at the earliest. of course, what do i know, but 2009 just seems so SOON in a year that's already jam-packed for them. of course, i'll take any new coldplay material i can get, but viva took like two full years of work to make into a masterpiece. i don't really want LP5 to be rushed or patched together, and i don't want them to "try too hard" like they did with X&Y. another "delayed sophomore slump" album like X&Y would be harder to recover from with the critics this time around.

i would say to all people that have a hard time thinking of what to write: try to think of a time when coldplay really helped you or something, like a song that got you through a rough time, and thank them for it. i would say keep it short and as personal as you can (though i went the general route :P). if all else fails, just say thanks for all they've given us this year :D

Fashion etc.
i had the same situation with my boots that i'm currently having a love-affair with. i'm just not the sort of person that owns...*ahem* $300 footwear. but i got them on a good deal because my mom works at the store that sells them, and well. i  them to death :D all three of us will get so much use out of them that we won't regret the purchases :D

18-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
^as it stands now, that's what the plan seems to be . otherwise, you guys are hopeless, all you wembley-double-headers. but i'll get my organization cap on this summer when i have more time to think about it and when the date gets closer, and we'll have a whole list of plans and clear instructions :P. i know i'm not going to let this be un-epic on the coldplaying.com front :D

this is coldplay's woodstock (i can't think of a better analogy right now...brain is fried). it's their biggest event to date, and i'm wondering how they can get too much more epic than this. a bigger venue isn't really possible :P

most coldplayers will be doing this, i guarantee it . along with other diehard fans who for some reason aren't on this site. i think it won't be TONS of people until the next morning, but i'm really looking forward to the coldplaying camp-out :wacky: also, because i'm MAJORLY procrastinating a paper, i just asked the oracle for tips on 70+ people staying relatively together on the stadium floor of the wembley gig

the time will come for an instructional thread, methinks: "HOW TO DO WEMBLEY THE COLDPLAYING WAY: INSTRUCTIONS HERE, PLANS A-Z" i'd even be willing to write it when it's relevant :P

^^looks like old wembley. i think the capacity is the same, though. the coldplayer party is 55% of the reason i'm so pumped for this. i should actually break it down :P 55% excitement: coldplayer party/meetups 10% excitement: being at coldplay's most awesomest, most historic event to date 35% excitement: seeing COLDPLAY in LONDON :dead: :stunned: :inquisitive: you people are insane

*raises hand meekly* question: in the picture below, you see that clump of people closest to the stage? before that horizontalish walkway? is that what they call the "golden circle" or whatever? because i must be in that section. we all must be. we must band together and make it our life mission to get in the front of that section.

the thing is, even with the exchange rate, the tickets alone aren't that expensive for me at all considering what concert tickets cost here in america on average. at worst, they're equivelent, so i can't complain about the money. i'll also already be living in london, so things like accomodation aren't problems :D. also, my uni is technically paying for this :sneaky: :P it's more just how it effects saturday and how it effects my well-being. i tend to get cranky when i can't shower :P (not to mention eat properly or pee when i need to :P), and the sleep deprivation alone might make saturday less enjoyable :\

the problem is that at least on the american version of ticketmaster, you can't say WHERE you want your seats to be...so imagine getting stuck with seats THIS far away: you can't even see the players. ergo, i don't know how worth it for me it would be. TEMPTING ME, MICH :mean: but i don't know still. something tells me i'm not going to end up doing it.

:bigcry: i know everyone's going to say that...AGH what to do, what to do... all y'all are going for a standing double-header, though, so i'd be all alone in the stands...semy isn't going to do both shows, he's pretty sure  EDIT: oooooh noelia, you too? :wideeyed:. well. that might change things...

Birmingham: Live Photoblog thread (Tuesday 2nd December)
hahaha, i love you guys  and BTW, i've never heard your stories about meeting the guys, lori & co . i knew that you had, but i don't know the specifics at all. care to enlighten me? :cheesy:

there are a few cells in my brain that are debating doing this concert too, but i'd do standing because i couldn't stand in line on thursday night and all day friday due to uni. i just don't want to jeopardize anything about saturday, because i think that ultimately more coldplayers will go to that and it will be slightly more of a real party (), and i want to be at my prime for that. someone convince me either way on what to do :uhoh:

Coldplaying Advent Calender
yeah, my last christmas was so outlandish and ridiculous that i'm hardly asking for anything this year besides a new luggage set to move to england with :P. we just had the holiday dinner i mentioned earlier here at uni, and i got my christmas sugar cookies with the gritty sugar sprinkles! :nice:. i wasn't so big on the fillet mignon or the salmon they had as the main course, though, so i stuck with all the hannukah food. i loooooove latkehs :D (spelling on that might be atrociously wrong...apologies).

ahh, same with me, the stupid sticker stamp was a huge rectangle, but i think i managed OK for myself :P glad to know i wasn't the only one! my clerk lady more gave a raised eyebrow, but she gave a real, audible chuckle when she saw the front of my bush one :P
