carla, i'll be able to say about...five things to you! :lol: (mostly i just remember random words of dutch, mostly pertaining to cheese, trains, and bikes :P) i could also have very basic conversations with arabic speakers...not that i anticipate there being many there :P i used to speak spanish, but i was made aware yesterday of just how much i forgot :disappointed:. on the bright side, it was wonderful to hear antonio banderas speak spanish to spanish students :nice:

i think i generally like sundays, but tomorrow (it's still saturday here), i have to study arabic all day :bigcry: but sunday always makes me think of the travis line: "everyday i wake up and it's sunday..." :P

we put ours up basically right after thanksgiving :lol: (well, ok, usually the weekend closest to december 1, but this year i did it early when i was home for thanksgiving because otherwise no one else would have ever done it :P). we're not like those weirdos that leave it up till MLK day, though. that's just pushing it. i'm allergic to pine :disappointed: i have one! it's really heavy on the coldplay, the beatles, and the U2, though :santa:

two of my friends and i have a facebook email/message/thread thing going to keep in touch while we're all at different colleges (we've spent nearly every day of our lives together for 15 years, so splitting up last year was a bit shocking), but other than that, i never send emails just to shoot the breeze. letters, though, i have done that. just not very recently.
