Gwyneth...
^i know, i'm being silly . should have made that more clear. seriously, though. good opportunity for gwyneth to wean chris off of his strictness :P

Gwyneth...
i bet chris, rather than congratulating gwyneth on the nomination, burst into tears upon finding out because he now has to find some way to go to the event while NOT being seen with her, yet also not alerting the press to the fact that they're not going in/seated together  seriously, though, chris HAS to go to the ceremony with so many top nominations, there's really no question about his going. and it's so unlike gwyneth to miss any sort of red carpet event she can get dressed up for, and she IS up for an award...i figure they'll both be there :sneaky:  i don't see it happening, but chris should just bite the bullet and go in with her, let the paps snap a few pictures to shut them up on the red carpet, and have gwyneth sit with them inside...maybe it would make him loosen up a bit for the future, make him realize it's not so bad :P. and it would be pretty assholish to make her stay home just because HE'S going :P [/being silly]

^i was thinking about somehow getting all the names on the back of the shirt too :nice:. that would make it totally awesome! but the problem with that is it would be really sad if someone gets tickets last minute and didn't have their name on the shirt, or if somehow someone got forgotten :\. i'm not saying it's impossible, i'm just saying i wouldn't want anyone to be left out :D

i think we should vote on two things: slogan/name and overall designs once they're created. i just think that we should leave the visuals up to visual people (ie, anyone who wants to try a hand at designing) and then vote on the designs as a whole once they're created (and they probably won't all be ready and people probably won't even bother starting designing until the date comes closer...people are generally procrastinators :P). the way we did this for the postcards project worked out very well, and we could have it be the same way where if anyone feels REALLY strongly about something, they can use whichever design they want :D. that way, everyone gets what they want, because if people are being adamant about things THIS far away from the date, imagine what it's going to be like when it's july or august!

i can see this turning into a way-too-heated battle over T-SHIRTS . we're not deciding the fate of a country or anything :P. it's going to be awesome regardless of the shirt color and slogan. i think that we should continue to make suggestions, and if semy's still willing to design a tshirt by the time he gets around to it and the date is closer and all that, then he should design something and post it here. then we can all make suggestions about it (or do like we did with the postcards project and vote on a couple different designs or something) and go from there. since all of this is still so far away, it *might* be a bit premature for a voting thread and all that, but if people want to start gathering all the ideas now, i'd be willing to help organize that

^you're not charged per color, it's just that most colors won't show up on a yellow shirt. if we want what's on it to be readable, it's pretty much got to be in black ink  and yes, what's written on it is just for us and the other people there, but i was originally under the impression that that was the entire point of the shirt, and that being noticed by the band was just extra. i'm all for whatever everyone else agrees upon, of course, (because it's JUST shirts ), but i was more excited about being part of a coldplaying team than maybe getting noticed :D. i guess i just am on a different page than everyone else

yeah, that's what i meant, if everyone could get a flag patch or sticker and put it on their sleeve, it would be much easier :D (in addition to having full-size flags to wave at the concert )

^i was thinking something like that too, or that somehow every person could get a patch or a sticker of their flag and put it on their sleeve :wacky: the thing is, regardless of what yellow looks like in a fashion-victim sense, choices are more limited for design and color if we're using that color shirt.

i hope you know i was 99% kidding, mark . i would wear it if it was puke-green :P. i was more thinking about what could be done design-wise with the color yellow than what i'd look like in it, since it's harder to print certain colors on a yellow shirt. since we're probably going to be doing this through cafepress, i found this shirt so far: thoughts? i don't think that we'll be able to get much brighter than that :P

ahhh my eyyyyyyyyyeeees :dead:  nah, i agree about the sticking to one color, and i'm fine with that color being yellow, really, it just wouldn't be my personal first choice and i'm being stubborn :P. i also agree that we should just all stick to one color to make finding each other easier, and to appear as a united unit on whatever recordings the band decides to make :sneaky: :P

Post pictures of the gorgeous Chris
"...removing the head or destroying the brain" i completely credit coldplay with my shaun of the dead/hot fuzz/spaced/simon pegg/edgar wright obsession. the only reason i turned on shaun of the dead one day was because i heard chris and jonny were in it, and the rest is history :wacky:

i actually DO want to wish away the years, and basically all the time until i get to go to england next august/september :wacky:. i did before wembley, but now this is even MORE reason to want time to go faster! :bigcry:. i think my obsession with thinking about it might get slightly more healthy as of friday, though, once i'm out of uni and have nothing to procrastinate.

oh man, bananas in pajamas!! or they could do the spongebob themesong...hell, i'd love to hear them do a rendition of pretty much anything. i love their covers :wacky: (side note: someday, i want them to cover "wonderwall" more than anything in the world). annnnyyyway. i'm too obsessed with this gig. when i have lots of work to do that i don't want to be doing, i usually find something else to obsess over to procrastinate with. midterms, it was the postcards from far away project, finals....it's wembley. semy and i now refer to it as the "W-word" sometimes because i get too carried away thinking about it...i've even misread the word "wednesday" as wembley several times now...:uhoh:

SHIVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :wideeyed:. i would die. if this setlist is going to be a bit out of the ordinary...i can't imagine anything better :wacky:. i'm not expecting it, but it would be amazing if they pulled out some rarely-played live songs. oh goodness, i would probably faint. why does this gig have to be so far away? :bigcry:

Gwyneth...
umm, doesn't that look a bit young to be apple, if this picture is recent? i could be very wrong, but based on size, it looks like she's holding moses to me. hmmm.
