Thats OK - happy to help. If anybody is interested there are a few hotels in Shanklin that might have some rooms free. It is quite a way from where the festival is being held, but you may have a better chance of getting accommodation. That is where we are staying anyway.

I am not entirely sure as I do not travel to or from London to either Southampton or Portsmouth anymore. I will try and find out for you if you want. For train and ticket information try the link below: http://www.thetrainline.com For the weekend before the festival, it will cost approximately £28.20 return to Portsmouth. Then for Southampton it will be about £30.90. These prices are is you purchase them in advance. Hope that this info helps people!!

Both Southampton and Portsmouth are easy to get to and the ferries usually take between 15 - 20 minutes depending on where you go from. Once you get to the Island there are buses which go to Newport although I am not sure what the arrangements will be to get to the festival from either Cowes or Ryde (if you catch the HI-speed services). Hope that this helps.

I have just spent a small fortune getting tickets, but it is worth every penny!! yeah!!

Has anybody brought the tickets which include the camping, but won't be camping (if you get my meaning!!)

Is it definite that the normal tickets have sold out? I was looking to purchasing the tickets with the camping but stay somewhere where there are decent toilet facilities instead!! I don't know what to do!! Good luck for your exams by the way a fellow AATer
