My hope for the tour They debut some new songs. obviously not right away, but if they continue touring into '09 i would like to see at least 1 new track. never understood why they havent done this more. the last tour they debuted new songs on (other than promoting a new album) was in 2001. every band does it, and i know coldplay isnt every band, but i always love to have an update of what they are changing the sound to. just a thought :)

I agree with you fullheartedly. i wouldn't say though that they specifically meant to make it like Radiohead. that's just how it came out. i think CSC sounds the most like a Radiohead song if you ask me. But whatever, i think the album is different in many ways than Radiohead, but there are similarities there. and btw, I love BOTH bands, and Radiohead puts on one of the most amazing shows of all time, even if you aren't a huge fan, it will amaze in ways you can't imagine

i'd almost rather have an album of their best unreleased stuff, or a box of everything and anything unreleased. still dying to hear deserter and so sad (not just the 13 second clip)

At first listen i thought this kinda killed Yes, but now i think i almost like it more than Yes. Definitely shoulda been its own track.

ya i like it too, but its very funny how they have changed. i knew they were changing, but i didn't think it be like this, not that i dont like it. its sort of a relief that they sound like this rather than a shitty electronic band, and 80's alternative has always been my guilty pleasure.
