Is it just me or has the songtitle "Viva La Vida" never appeared anywhere before? I'm looking forward to this so much! I've been waiting for the release for years! :lol: if I have the right to complain a little I don't like that the album has the same title as a song (or two?), that connects to much with Parachutes, AROBTTH and X&Y. It doesn't "end the triology". Woo how excited I got when i read that the songs had new build ups (even thou I had read it before). Like : "Yes" shifts from a string- and tabla-driven rocker into a shoegazer-y breakdown, while a funky groove emerges from out of nowhere in the middle of "Death and All His Friends." What do you think it will be? And what do you hope it will be? All ideas and guesses in here! :lol: I personally think it will be different from the previous, you know ending the triology and stuff. All previous records has had something in the centre that gets the attention, a logo (the planet, the mixep-up body and the code). I'm guessing this artwork will be a bit more "spreaded out" if you know what I mean, more like a picture, more details, not like a logo. Or perhaps plainer, simpler. I'm thinking white artwork (dunno why, I just do). I hope they will stick with their previous idea of having the singles artwork connected to the CD'c artwork, I love that. :kiss:

I've never thought of it as one of the songs either. :uhoh2:In one of the Prospekt entries it says "P.S Prospekt is the title of the album" or something like that, right? So I've thought of it as the album, and that they are reffering to how the work on the album is going. Perhaps they wanted to release it in March? But I unfortunately don't think it will be out until May, perhaps early June, but that's just my guess.;)

Yeah, the singer of Embrace is a friend of Chris. And Chris didn't want to use the song as anything more then a B-side, but the singer of Embrace (don't know his name) liked it so Chris gave it away to them. :shocked2:

I agree with you, Coldplay does have very strong B-sides!:D But I don't think you can take for granted that LP4 will sound anything like "Homecoming", after all, Chris made the song with Kanye, so the rest of the band had nothing to do with it, but they have pretty much to do with this new album...;) And about X&Y... How many copies and how much success they've gained does unfortunately not say anything about the quality of the music.

I like number 3, playing old songs in new ways! :) I like the rocky version of trouble on the Live 2003 DVD, but I don't think all fans will like it. I think the safest way to do something in a new way is to do it acoustic, but playing on the safe cards all the time might get boring, i hope they will surprise us! :lol:

I defininetely don't agree with you! Shure, you have your right to think that X&Y is their greatest album but I think that both AROBTTH and Parachutes are better. "Radiohead also. They are good, but Thom is not a vocal master and Jonny Greenwood can't play that good" WHAT?! Come on, Thom has a great voice, he does not only have a lovely falsetto, he can also sing very low, and Jonny is brilliant on the guitar, he may not have the guitarsolos of Slash, but he does have a personal style which I think fits the music very well. Plus they are both amazing songwriters who doesn't get caught up in a pattern, they always try to do something new.

I think Gravity is their best b-side ever, I especially like the live version, it's heartbreaking. But I do like Sleeping Sun to, because it's different. I can't believe they gave gravity away to Embrace. A big mistake!

Word on both. Amsterdam as the closing song on the Live 2203 DVD is just pure love. :heart: but I do think they will find it hard to skip Yellow, In My Place and The Scientist. I'm pretty shure they won't play Politik, Trouble and Don't Panic forever. That's bad, cause thay are all great songs, Don't Panic is their best song in my opinion. I hope they will skip Clocks. and In my place. I thaught Square one was a great live opening track, but I doubt that they will stick with that one.

to bad i'm not japanese ;) I just checked Radioheads tourdates, and they also had two japanese dates in august (but ther arent on that poster-thing, but maybe it's not announced yet?), so are they also coming there?

i'm pretty shure they've said it's 42?

I also chose between those songs, but 42 sounded greater musically, so I chose it :) gah, I can't wait to hear theses songs!!

Oh my fucking god. :o I'm so excited. This is great news! :lol: Darker sounds brilliant, because I sometimes think they have been a bit to smooth, especially on X&Y. The lyrics does seem pretty "coldplay-y" to me, at least the few clips revealed. But I just can't wait to hear this! and a Europe tour! Oh... if they will come to Sweden...

God, I truly got axcited while reading that Prospekt entry! :lol: I just hope they can match up to all these words, to the person writing it sounds like they've truly done they masterpiece, lets hope that it's true!

I definetely like "Lost!", Just seems like a perfect follow up to "Don't Panic", "Politik" and "Square One". Don't know exactely why, but I definetely like it. "Cemeteries of London" sounds great to i think. "42"-I think this could be "the Coldplay-song". There have been things said that there will be one track that will be "the coldplay-song", you know like "Stairway to heaven". I just have a feeling that it's this track, you know 41 minutes, a song named 42, an abstract name. Hopefully a Classic. I don't like the names "Poppy Fields" and "LeftRightLeftRightLeft", Poppy Fields sounds very cheesy. The other names are...just names I guess. But a song can't be judged by it's name, just the name can be judged. I mean, "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face" and "A Rush Of Blood To the Head", those names are pretty weird but the songs are amazing! So I guess we'll just gonna have to sit here and wait until the album comes out...

Sorry for the chaning of subject, but doesn't it look like Jonny have aged a lot? for example that Coldplay.com-video where they play football, Jonny looks very old. He has gon a bit bald and gained some weight, wich makes hom look pretty old. Or is it just me that thinks so?

Arcade Fire, no doubt, Arcade Fire are amazing and Snow Patrol is simply boring. Radiohead.

I've always thought that Will is the one keeping the band toghether. He is pretty quiet, he's definetely not Coldplay face outwards (but come on, which band has the drummer as frontman?). But I feel like he's the glue, he's the one keeping the rest of the band together and keeping them on the ground. I don't know, that's just the impression I've got.:)
