i think there is only the cd (in digipack) and vinyl now..the official coldplay shop used to have an option to buy either cd in jewel case or as a limited digipack..but now its just buy as cd or vinyl!

is the black cover the booklet only? is it quite thick? looks like it coudl be thick and not just few sheets sstapled? EDIT - just noticed the seam in the pic..so thats the inside of the gatefold !

i never understand why these sites dont upgrade or make sure things will run smoothly by using a larger server when its obvious lots of people will want to be doing the same thing!just like the ticket companies and the violet hill single...

Speed of sound was used in an itunes ad too if im not mistaken? its an advert for the music rather than a product..much like seeing an advert for their album..its not advertising a drink or toy...etc

submitted mine at like 9 30am (uk time) so its been about 10/11 hours and still nothing...did one in my gfs name and email too at the same time and still nothing...

is anyone in the uk having trouble with this? the post code you cant enter because it doesnt accept letters...so when you try to enter it nothing happens..press submit and it bounces it back cuz it need the post code!

lol no i wish! no just have safari (mac web browser) which has a bit called "activity" and that shows all the things happening on the site (so any photos, code, etc). To get that bit i just looked at one of the files that popped up in activity...and it listed all these images (all of which were just ones we can see except that one). bit boring there sorry..lol.. used the same thing for the "a spell.." link the other day..it came up with a link that was like blahhhh/01.mp3 so just changed it to 02 to see wot would happen :)

it looks like guy has a camera and is taking a photo of the globe in the air (thrown by jonny? who also has the base of it). Outfits look rather military themed..well the jackets anyway! (EDIT - military asin the era of the war depicted on the liberty leading.. painting)

From what i can tell these are definatly mock-ups which have been put up (as someone said earlier) for the band or managers to see and give feedback on..they could have just been done in photoshop as is the case with most mock-ups and would mean the site could still be some time off..if they were recently put up then it may be the site is still some way off and they are deciding on the final look! EDIT: also the company is based in california so they would defo be uploaded for the band to see as it would be easier than getting a plane over just to decide a look..
