  1. Actually the Oracle was asked " if Coldplay might perform ANY new tracks from the up and coming album".
  2. I went back out later and walked for another 3 hours. My knee is hurting :( Rested it today but might do a little gentle walk tomorrow. x
  3. Indeed. It's not about reaching the target now, it's about smashing right through it! Update: I have managed an hour every day fast walking up and down rolling hills (and pavements). Today even managed a 30 minute jog. Now, hot to find time to build up to 8 hours a day and I'm laughing... Thanks to all sponsors, it's been amazing to see the generosity of people I have never met :-) x
  4. Thank you! I will have to find the perfect song won't I? I'll let you know if I have any ideas. x
  5. Though Green Eyes popped up on iPod earlier and the line "... you are a rock upon which I stand..." I took very literally!
  6. Thank you SO much! That's taken the total to over £1000 and is our first hurdle. It's so very sweet and kind of you. Just to let you know that the band are most definitely NOT performing at the summit or coming with me but word has it that us trekkers will have a sing around a camp fire via webcam with people requesting songs from 'home' so maybe I should ask them to rehearse a Coldplay song? Don't Panic sounds appropriate right now! xxx
  7. Just waiting on Miller's so hopefully between Christmas & New Year. x
  8. Hi everyone, If you're still having trouble or getting anything on your screen other than our official pages, please could you forward a screengrab/photo of what you are seeing to me at [email protected]. Many thanks! x
  9. Chris was Phil's and he was fantastic!
  10. Maybe it's the angle but that doesn't look much like Kelly! The dude in glasses is Jeff....
  11. It would be great if you could post it to: PO Box 246 Cheadle SK8 9AF I take it you were working at Wembley the night of the show? I will email around asking who it belongs to but with the tour just ended, hopefully everyone will be sleeping or on holiday! Thanks!
  12. Actually it wasn't him. I don't recall seeing him sniffing around either but plenty people jumped on that particular bandwagon....
  13. Great to read all the reviews and stories. I got in at 4 and watched everyone running to the front so must have seen a few of you. Hope you were wearing sunscreen? Saw Jonny first who was miming, mouthing words and gesturing as it was he who was in fact the poorliest member but he didn't seem ill, just resting his voice; usual happy smiley Jonny in good spirits. Saw Will watching White Lies, sporting a scarf so they must all be protecting their exposed necks... also in fine fettle. Chris didn't appear ill to me when I saw him beforehand and he watched Jay Z from a balcony - went unnoticed, quite funny that no-one seemed to be looking at him! Didn't seem ill during show to me either.... Saw Guy warming up and he too was in good mood, so all round, think the next few shows will be amazing!! x
  14. Does anyone happen to know what Jen's husband is called? If anyone can tell me it'd be greatly appreciated. And funeral arrangments? x
  15. Found this on her MySpace page last night. This is me with her. :(
  16. I am sat here in tears. I did have the pleasure of meeting Nettie last year at the BBC recording and she was an amazing girl with such a passion and zest for life. She was kind enough to also send me youtube clips of shouts outs to me from Chris at the Manchester shows. I've left a message for Phil who also met her and I know the band (and security who she always managed to wangle free passes from!) will be terribly sad to hear such shocking news. She will leave such a void. :( x
  17. They tried it out before the tour started and decided to leave it off setlist as it wasn't the easiest song to translate to the live shows. They performed it a couple of times but as it wasn't 'easy', it was dropped again. Shame as it's my favourite!!
  18. 2010 and no idea if PB or HB. It's about an optimistic, hungry young northern girl who moves to London to pursue her dream of working for a major label to try and discover the next big thing and the consequences. I don't know if I'm allowed to give the title away just yet though...! x
  19. This isn't the Coldplay book. It's a novel. They're in it but it's not the book I was writing years ago. It's supposed to be out next September but given there's a credit crunch on, who knows??
