  1. Maybe they're doing the Antarctic concert...:sneaky:
  2. I saw a Fruit of the Loom ad on TV a few minutes ago and did a search on YouTube. It's a music video, not unlike the country song the "band" did a while back. The song is called Personally, I think it's hillarious. What do you guys think? Do you think it's inspired by Coldplay, or just brit-pop/rock in general? (Sorry, didn't know where to put this. Feel free to move it, mods.)
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md8CQcX6eBE - Coldplay in Japan doing Swallowed in the Sea, Til Kingdom Come, A Message, and Warning Sign.
  4. zejsianeiak;emsniz8jaerjnlonbehgndantidisestablishmentarianismdfnbaaaaqsng26jjsng Hmm...Nothing...
  5. It probably was Gwen. Seriously, do you think Paris Hilton could do anything other than sit around and do...whatever she does that made her famo--Hey, she didn't do anything to make herself famous, huh?
  6. Actually, no. That's the first time I've ever heard of that site. Thanks for the link, though.
  7. Okay. First, grab the box of one of your games. Does it have this little thing in the corner of the box? If not, get a game that has that. This logo means that the game is able to be played online. A few games that have online play are Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing, Tony Hawk's American Sk8land, and Metroid Prime: Hunters. If you have a game like that, get near a wireless router. Almost every wireless router is compatible with the DS. If you have an incompatible router or don't have one at all, you could buy the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter, found at Nintendo's official website. You could probably go to a place with a wireless hotspot, such as Starbucks or an airport. US McDonald's locations have free Wi-Fi as well. Refer to the game's manual to learn how to play online. The game also comes with a WiFi guide to help you get started and troubleshoot.
  8. Swallowed in the Sea + Square One > Fix You. Oh, and Talk is also a good one.
  9. I was listening to Spies a while ago and I scratched my head over it. What if Spies was a tribute to Orwell's 1984? The lines about being a fugitive may refer to being one who commits a thoughtcrime or something like that and the "spies" may be members of the Party. *SPOILERS AHEAD* The song, if this is true, alternates from a first person to a second person view, the second person view being the chorus and bridge. The line "And you're feeling so bad 'cause you know" refers to Winston's hatred toward the Party and Big Brother. The final chorus describes Winston after the brainwashing. Winston feels good about the spies because another "criminal" is being brought to justice. The spies "can't touch him" because of the "rehabilitation" he was put through; he is no longer a threat to the Party. Yeah, so I sorta thought this up on the fly. I haven't read the book in a while, so don't expect me to get into some deep conversation about it.
  10. My Metroid Prime: Hunters code is 1117-3906-1506. In Animal Crossing, my name is Nate and I reside in Teh Town. My friend code there is 5154-6271-7783. On Mario Kart DS, I'm known as Mr Snig_GF and my friend code is 2835-3624-5824. Mr Snig_GF's friend code for Tetris DS is 3176-0814-3391. Innocent_Joy, would you be willing to buy the entire Robo Set from me on Animal Crossing? Name your price and we'll haggle.
  11. X-Men: The Last Stand - 8/10 The special effects were neat and the story wasn't too bad, especially the cliffhanger(ish) ending (before the credits). The dialouge was awkward and a few of the fights were anti-climactic. Oh, and Ellen Page FTW. ^_^
  12. This board is ignorant. Oh wait, I'm not on GameFAQs, huh? Okay, so what's up with all the Nintendo hate on this board? All I'm seeing is "Nintendo needs to die" and the age-old "lol rev contorller=vibrater M I RITE?" joke, if you could call it a joke. The DS has been selling like hotcakes worldwide, with the PSP relatively far behind. This is because Nintendo isn't trying to go the same route as their competitors, who simply target males age 10-35, which is the target market for gaming. Nintendo is aiming to get everyone into gaming. They've done this with games like Nintendogs and Brain Age, as well as keeping us real gamers happy with titles such as Metroid Prime: Hunters, Animal Crossing, and so on. The Nintendo DS has significantly less power than the PSP, but is selling because of the wide variety of games on the platform, instead of watered down ports of home console games. Nintendo seems to be going along with this strategy for the Wii as well. Let's face it, more of the same thing (Better graphics and sound each generation) wasn't getting Nintendo anywhere. The N64 and GameCube were far behind the Playstation, Playstation 2, and Xbox. This is one of the main reasons why Nintendo is using a strategy dubbed the "Blue Ocean Strategy". This means that while their competitors are fighting a fierce battle in the shrinking, blood-filled "red ocean", Nintendo will be going where no one has gone before, into the "blue ocean" (BTW, I'm not making this up. Iwata and Reggie have mentioned this strategy numerous times in press conferences). The new controller embodies Nintendo's take on the Blue Ocean Strategy. This controller will be able to sense yaw, pitch, and roll, as well as distance from the television. The biggest names in the industry (Hideo Kojima [director and producer of the Metal Gear Solid series], the producer of the earlier Final Fantasies, etc.), video game journalists (go to any mainstream gaming news site such as IGN or GameSpot and read hands-on articles about the Wii), and many others say that the controller is very intuitive and a blast to play with. This intuitiveness is what will captivate new gamers, Nintendo says. So please, Nintendo haters, educate yourselves or STFU. In fact, if you for any reason hate a gaming company, educate yourself or STFU. Please.
  13. I don't know at all what you're talking about, Nintendo rocked, and continues to rock, let alone a few screwups here and there. Anyways, Wii is really a stupid name out of context, but if you take into consideration what Wii really means, it's pretty clever. And it sounds just as stupid as Xbox. Seriously. All awesomeness of the actual system aside, the Xbox's name is nonsensical.
