KEANE have announced their only Asian show on this tour - August 9th in Bangkok, Thailand - Impact Arena. Lucky bastards!!! I suppose Coldplay skipped Bangkok last week, so this is poetic justice. Enjoy all you thai fans!

We drove the British out by not fighting back. And won. I agree totally with Ashok's missive - peace is the only way out of all of this. What is retaliating (a la Dubya) going to do but cause more anger, more pain, more death?? Anyways, just my two cents.

Really?????? I thought it was a heavy metal type show - don't think anyone remotely Coldplay or mainstream will have a chance. But I'll start watching it from now on.

I guess there are a few genres... the Brat Pack era (St Elmos Fire, Bkfst Club etc), Adventure (Indiana Jones, Back to the Future), Sci Fi (Star Wars/Planet of the Apes), Breakdance (Body Rock, Break dance) and a lot more. I personally associate 80s with the angst-ridden teen a la Footloose, Tuff Turf (remember that one?), Karate Kid and all the Brat Pack films which I can watch forever. Say Anything is probably my favourite of all of them. Just perfect. And just so where I wanted to be in High School - but only got there in University.

I would probably have to give it a 3 or 3 1/2. I was only impressed with that aeroplane/space shuttle effect. I think you are right to say that we are left waiting for something to happen. And it also left me with many many unanswered questions. Although the new Superman is not a bad actor, I think the story falls flat - there's just no oomph.

I have to agree with this. They increased the number of MTR trains that night and everyone should have been home latest by midnight. It is safe, sheltered, clean and well lit and people on the trains are polite. Try seeing a show at Brixton Academy in London and you miss the last train... that is not fun at all. Or coming back from a festival like Glastonbury or Knebworth where there aren't even enough toilets let alone transportation. We have it VERY good here.

I recorded that song (Til Kingdom Come) on my phone. I'll try and upload it somehow, but have no clue how to do it! But was funny that they went to Deep Water Bay of all places. And to Lamma island for seafood. And the Peak. All places that I go to ... alas didn't see them out and about. BUt the show was brilliant!
