  1. Sound Relief was so awesome! The crowd went wild when John Farnham came on, it was the highlight of the day! Everyone was singing along to You're The Voice. I think maybe part of Chris' run into the crowd was also to add some extra excitement after the duet. I truly don't think the security were impressed though. A few yellow balloons got carried by the wind right out of the stadium! How funny to be the person walking along and randomly a giant balloon flies towards you :D Also, Chris mentioned my section!! I think it was before VLV he said something about the entire crowd singing if their voices permitted and they knew the words, even if you're "all the way up there in section 317"!! I felt special, even though it was just a coincidence. A great day!
  2. Four hours! Wow. When I was waiting in the dock area for the staff bus driver to get his coffee so that I could get to P5, the security guy said that the band were having a party because it was the 100th show and that Chris was going to still be in there for a while. That was close to 2AM so I guess it is better I left to go home then. Apparently they have never stuck around so long at a venue before (according to the security guy, who is lovely, and to one of my boss-type people) and that it is because the dressing rooms are more spacious than usual at Acer Arena.
  3. My section weren't too bad on singing/dancing along. The girls in front of us and some guys behind were up for most of it. My friends and I were standing most of the time. As my friend said "how can you not be thrilled?" - I don't know how some people stayed seated most of the time. But a lot of people were just sitting and there were so many opportunities for a crowd choir and it was only with prompting and towards the end that people actually started to sing along properly.
  4. That's so lucky! We went straight to the loading dock to wait for them and the security lady said they had already left! What a liar!! That was about 11.10pm ... Does that mean if we had waited a little longer we could have seen them?? I bought a texta especially for autographs and didn't get to use it. It was such an amazing concert!! They came so close when they went into the crowd. They were in the next section so we went down close to them and were only about 5 metres away! :D:D It was weird to see them so close instead of on the stage or on TV - we were like "Wow, they're actual people!" The crowd was pretty great, especially towards the end. At some points though I think they could have sung along better. Although Chris did say we are all into the finals for Australia's Got Talent. I really liked the slow version of The Hardest Part, it was lovely. And in the set they played in the crowd how Chris was asking everyone "Are you in love?" :laugh3: Overall, an excellent night. A Coldplay concert is always more than worth the money it costs to see them. And I will somehow find a way to preserve my butterflies.
  5. The ones they didn't like didn't get released. He didn't mean the shirts that are in the online store at the moment.
  6. :) He was interviewing her for half of it though lol
  7. I know, I've been waiting for them to say when they're coming!
  8. Chris Martin did an interview with Nova 96.9 (a Sydney radio station) that aired this morning on the Merrick & Rosso & Kate show. You can have a listen at http://nova969.com.au/site/shows/merrick_rosso_kate.aspx He says that Coldplay will hopefully tour Australia in February or March. 9. I had to listen to it a couple of times but I definately love it! It was on the radio this morning, when my alarm went of it was playing and I did this weird roll/leap thing to get out of bed and turn on my proper radio coz my clock radio has crackly sound lol. I love that it's a bit more rocky... and I really like the end bit "I took my love to violet hill....."
  10. I liked it, it was a nice one. I don't think they needed to do anything big because they'd been putting up previous Christmas things over the last couple of weeks. It's not that big a deal that it wasn't goofy, imo. I really liked that they acknowledged other religious occasions as well. I do Eid and Christmas so it made me happy that they went further than Merry Christmas and did Chanuka and Eid as well in the written message. Hope everyone's having a great day :)
