I just downloaded Ghost I out of curiosity, and I'm on track two atm. I havn't really listened to NIN before, but I'm liking it! The album art for each track is a very nice idea.

Exactly, I hope this album wins my brother over aswell. Although I should really avoid doing so because if it doesn't, I'll never hear the end of it. I think he's started to take interest though, since i told him that there's a "straight up rock tune" on the album and that most of the songs are "rougher round the edges", since he's into the heavier side of rock (and i'm not really). So I could be halfway there. Yes it would be awkward having another person in the room at the time, its a shame really. But if you're quite sure you'll be home by may, then I dont think theres anything to worry about ;) And I'm pumped for the album art and videos aswell. Personally I want to see a really abstract video from them, something artsy. Either way, probably gonna be the best summer ever.

^I'm pretty sure it'll be out by then. Although this time last year we were all predicting a Christmas release (well most of us were, anyway). If I'm honest, I'd probably rather be here at uni when the album comes out. Why? Mostly because of one of my brothers. Theres nothing worse than a sibling that takes the piss out of you're coldplay obsession, and he would probably keep interupting my first LP4 session 'just to annoy me' as he says. He also keeps saying LP4 will be crap every single time i start talking about it, which annoys the hell out of me. He also thinks I'm a coldplay wannabe because I bought a keyboard recently. I think you can start to see why I'm not too keen to go back home. Anyway rant over (for now), but no matter where I am when its released, you can bet i'll be completely detached from the world for 42 minutes.

Anywhere, as long as its in the lower half of the UK. It will be my first time seeing them, and I'm not gonna pass up any opportunity. Exciting times, for sure.

^Haha, sorry about that post Chelsea, nothing like a little (or huge) jolt of excitement when you're all antsy about the info that we're all craving for... :rolleyes: :laugh2: Seriously though, it must suck not to have freedom of obsession, because you're living with someone else. Luckily for me we all have our seperate bedrooms, so the privacy is quite good. Of course, I do blast some Coldplay quite loud every once in a while, but then again one of the girls upstairs is always playing Radiohead at top volume, so no one can complain really. About the NEW STARS thread being bold, yeah I'm the same. But I've learned not to get too excited about that these days. Its too painful :laugh1:

^ Wow, I'm doing a really similar course to you actually, Multimedia technology and Design at the University of Kent in Canterbury (UK). I'm liking it so far, but they really do just let you get on and do it yourself. I've actually got an american student in one of my seminars doing the course, I think he previously studied Website Design or something. Also, Kent University is known as the UK's European University, meaning that they are willing to take on students from everywhere really. http://www.kent.ac.uk/ The homepahe for the course I'm doing: http://www.ee.kent.ac.uk/ And Canterbury's a nice area, with plenty of history to it. Theres also a lot of student acommodation around here, so its not so difficult to set up camp here, so to speak. There's also a very good design college called Arts Institute at Bournemouth. It specialises in your area of interest. http://www.aib.ac.uk/ But I went for my current course because it is a lot broader ;) Probably not very helpful to you, but thats my two cents.
