Well, i've just returned from a long break (from this forum i mean :D ). Since then my opinion on THP video isnt as harsh as it was before, i quite like it. But the old people still put me off a little :laugh3: . I thinks the song's good though.

Hi Parachutes2007, and welcome to the coldplay forums. Have fun! Well i think all of Coldplays songs are open to interpretation, but i think the song X&Y is about love: "You and Me", but its a tough relationship, and there are disagreements: "Trying hard to speak", "So part of the plan". He mentions a tidal wave, as apposed to them floating on a calm sea, which i think is a metaphor for their relationship - its a thrilling ride, but its fierce and far from peaceful. Just to name a few points.

Late 2007, a christmas release would be good... But the latest would be January 2008 before i start getting angry at them :D . Their Deadline from me.

Yes you're probably right there. Then again if he listened to Politik before going on stage, he would get far too hyped up for his own good. Not to mention the crazy lets-ride-the-stool thing that Chris Martin does when he plays it live! Anyway, i dont reli like his recent music so listening to a bit of coldplay here and there has got to be a good thing.

Well it happens quite often but i dont take much notice, and its their loss if they want to ignore great music.
