Elena Dementieva had a torn calf muscle hence the retirement, happened after her second match and has been playing with it since, quite a feat itself making it to the semis. Pulled out of Eastbourne and is not confirmed for Wimbledon hope she makes it would be a lesser tournament without her. Glad Stosur is in the final she steamrolled past JJ, hope she goes all the way.

Disappointed for Dementieva that it had to end this way. Should be something serious if not she wouldn't retire just like that hope she recovers from it and does well at Wimbledon. Since Elena is out :( I want Stosur to win this, Go Sammy!

Soderling played like a beast was serving bombs and hitting forehand rockets, should be a tough semi against Berdych. Federer's No.1 ranking and quest of beating Sampras's record at No.1 hangs in the balance Nadal wins this and he's no.2 but at least he seems calm about it in his post match interview. Sam Stosur has been playing great tennis vicious forehands and has killer guns to add to it. Would love for it to be a Stosur vs Dementieva final.
