  1. Didn't expect Kim Clijsters to lose in this manner.
  2. The Ferrer v Baghdatis match was great, Baghdatis did well to rally back being down 2 sets. Well Baghdatis is slated to me the winner of the Hewitt v Young match and if expected Hewitt wins (he is at the moment). One thing for sure the atmosphere for the match is going to be electric with the home support for Hewitt and Baghdatis's support. What on earth is wrong with Ivanovics' serve her ball toss is just totally wonky. Sad to see how she's playing so badly at the moment.
  3. Dementieva lost. :( Just her luck to run into Henin so early in the tournament.
  4. Great match between Sharapova and MariKiri, Sharapova really looked out of sorts with the double faults(wonder if it has anything to do with her shoulder injury and having to adapt her serve) and the unforced errors 66 in total that's insane. Credit to MariKiri she really got stuck in especially in the first and she looks like she's in really good shape physically.
  5. They were great live, really enjoyed it when they played Good Riddance and Minority.
  6. Have A Nice Day, Maybe Tomorrow, Dakota
  7. Aussie Open anyone, should be an interesting one with the comebacks of Henin and Clijsters. Nice to see the players do their part for charity in the Hit for Haiti event. Great eye candy match to get the ball rolling on Rod Laver Arena, Sharapova vs Kirilenko.
  8. Nice to see Schumi back he definitely will add something to the coming season, interesting to see how the pairing of him and Rosberg is going to work out.
  9. The Dutch got a good draw, huge potential to do well as usual just hope they don't choke. Go Oranje!
  10. Can't wait to see them live next year, its gonna be absolute madness.
  11. I absolutely love Give Me Strength great lyrics, really sincere song.
  12. Quite a sight when Kovalainen drove off with the fuel pump still intact and spewing fuel and Kimi driving over the fuel to cause his car to be have a small fire. I guess that's one good thing once there's no more refueling next season.
  13. I would be surprised if Nakajima stays at Williams has not scored any points yet this season and it has been Rosberg carrying the team. The BMW team might still be around though. As for the drivers that might be without a team the no brainer would be to just join one of the new teams entering into Formula 1.
  14. He drove a good race, disappointed for Nico Rosberg could have done so much better if not for the error.
  15. Attending the race was fun the atmosphere was great, thank goodness for good weather it had been quite shitty i.e. rain leading up to it. Throw in a Travis gig and it just adds to the awesomeness. Did manage to meet Heiki Kovalainen and spotted Robert Kubica, Fernando Alsonso and Romain Grosjean.
  16. Looking forward to the race next weekend, i hope for good weather. Spotted Mika Hakkinen in the mall on Monday he was here for some Johnnie Walker promo events.
  17. Well that sucks. :( I guess Federer paid the price for not converting his many break points and his serve was just wonky so many double faults. Credit to Del Potro he played well and never gave up. Nice to see Federer being gracious in defeat, unlike Serena Williams.
  18. Goodness the shot that Federer hit between the legs, to bring about match point against Djokovic was just sick. Out of this world.
  19. http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/blog/busted_racquet/post/Serena-Williams-berates-official-loses-match-fo?urn=ten,189028 Serena Williams berates official, loses match for conduct violation Rain gave way to bedlam tonight at the U.S. Open. Defending champion Serena Williams was charged with a point penalty on match point after yelling at a line judge for a calling a foot fault on her previous serve. The ruling gave Kim Clijsters a 6-4, 7-5 victory in their semifinal match, which had been delayed 32 hours because of rain. After the line judge called the foot fault with Serena serving at 5-6, 15-30 in the second set, the youngest Williams sister intimidatingly stared her down before screaming at the official with a jabbed finger. After a few seconds, Serena turned back around to serve, thought better of it and resumed the badgering. The chair umpire then called over the line judge to ask what Serena had said, rules officials were summoned, a brief summit occurred at the net and it was determined that Serena would be assessed a point penalty for a conduct violation. The point gave Clijsters the match. The initial foot fault that began the fireworks was a terrible call. It was unconscionable. It cannot be made at the end of any match, let alone in the semifinals of the U.S. Open. This isn't because a foot fault is a ridiculous call at that juncture (even though it is). It's because it wasn't a foot fault. The replays show that Serena's foot was behind the line when she served. You could make the argument that it was close but not close enough to make the call. That being said, it's no excuse for Serena to berate an official. Wrong as the official may have been, there's a line that to be crossed and Serena did it pretty early on in her diatribe by saying, "I'm going to shove this ball down your f------ throat". It got worse from there. There were multiple profanities, more threats and a lot of pointing. Serena was soon defending herself against accusations that she had threatened to kill the lines judge. Even John McEnroe said it was a bit much. The explosive end is sure to obscure the fact that Serena probably would have lost the match without the foot fault. Clijsters was playing great and Serena couldn't win a point on her second serve. The end was coming, Serena's outburst merely hastened its arrival. Maybe that was the point.
  20. The way Serena Williams behaved in the women's semi-finals is pathetic. Its quite sad really a top athlete behaving like that
  21. What an awkward result Clijsters and Williams goes to three sets but two of them are 6-0. Zvonareva is literally having a meltdown in the third set.
  22. I sincerely hope that its not going to be a repeat of the Wimbledon final would be one big yawn.
  23. The woman's seeds are falling like flies. How did it go from possibly having a Dementieva vs Sharapova match up to both of them now being out. :dozey:
  24. Terribly disappointed for Dementieva, yet again promising so much but not delivering.
  25. "Closer" sounds so beautiful live especially when the crowd sings along.
