The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
As I see the pics and vids I realize this must have been fucking crazy. Yeah the ballon/gymnast thing is quite surprising, but it reflects Blackout's slow grace I think. The show was merely the same in Paris' Parc des Princes a week later (a friend took photos : fantastic). Still, I don't think this beats Pink Floyd's P.U.L.S.E...

I can't imagine a life without new DAS posts AND Hodiau Direkton !! May the new LP come quickly now.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
The young sister of a friend was given for free a ticket to the Parc des Princes last saturday (I couldn't go because of surprise surgery on my left arm (-> No guitar for the next three weeks)). So she went for nothing and as she came back, said it was boring. I would've killed her if I could, but my arm hurt me way too much.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Well I prefer RadioMad's one, the intro and outro are better, and the rhythm is... slower, which is better, the guitar sounds neat and the solo is fantastic : Matt has at last finished this MAKE-AS-MUCH-NOISE-AS-I-CAN-WITH-MY-GUITAR-EVEN-IF-IT-SOUNDS-HORRIBLE phase, which is a very good thing. I've been very often pissed about they're need to play their songs twice as fast as on the album, as if they were on a hurry. New Born was one of them. And i do believe that songs are much more powerful when they're slow.

Radiohead
Well you didn't, but I guess I didn't make myself clear enough : what I meant is of course they're gonna be on the album, but those are pieces of these songs that were rejected, cut off during the mix, which means the actual songs will sound better than these samples. Which is a really good thing I think.

Newborn is actually no big surprise : they always play it. And to reassure you I think the first setlist was better than the second : you've had Man of Mistery and I always find Bliss disappointing live.

All I Need, Down Is The New Up and Arpeggi sound great on these studio pieces, and they are the ones that were rejected, which means they will be even better !! ... God I can't wait

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Could any of the lucky ones who saw them at Wembley post the setlist, please ? Yeah about the DVD, if it's the show for which they used the most special effects (balloons, gymnasts, etc) then it must be on the DVD. But maybe they'll use this all stuff in other stadium concerts, like the one at the Parc des Princes, Paris...

^ Yes it really looks like that. Gosh, this DAS update : worst album teaser I've ever heard  Still, it's so exciting

I think they don't fall into the category, but rather fit in the category, you know, there is so much more in Pink Floyd than prog rock.

^Yeah, someone should post things like : Monday, June 11th 2007 : still no update. Still, Hodiau Direkton changes frequently, that's more than nothing.

What artist can't you STAND listening to?
A very famous dead French singer called Claude François, who's been the firs man to sing "Comme d'Habitude"/"My Way". I only like My Way and not Comme d'Habitude and I can't stand his voice, dance, lyrics, music, songs in general.

On the monday just after Wembley, they are releasing Map Of The Problematique digital-only single, with a live performance of the song and a remix.

Wednesday I had a computer-assisted conception lesson and as the teacher was quite open-minded, we could go on Youtube or Radioblog-like sites to listen to music while working, which is fine. But as I chose to listen to Idioteque, the teacher came around and said -So you listen to Radiohead -Yes I do. -But this is crap, they've been doing the same thing for twenty years -This is so untrue ! Even a deaf man couldn't say that ! Then I made him listen to Creep and EIIRP to make him realise he was saying bullshit, but he said "Yeah, that's it : you wanna give him a bucket to vomit" and then started to recommend me some shitty goth rock bands from the 80's. God I've never been able to stand this guy but this made me hate him more.

Yesterday I got my Airbag/How Am I Driving ?, and it's really good, isn't it ? Meeting In The Aisle, A Reminder and Polyethylene are great, and Melatonin makes me think of MPS, you know, the keyboard, very slow, thom's lullaby voice...- Last Album that you bought/acquired?
I know it's not really an album, but Radiohead - Airbag/How Am I Driving ?- The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
They are more expensive for the audience. I think they are for the production too (because you have to blast full-power to make everyone hear it), but I doubt the overcost reaches about twenty bucks per fan, regarding the fact that there are many many of them. - What are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
