^^ well said. i mean the first time i heard colplay i fell in love with the coldplay sound and of course i can still go back to that by listening to parachutes over and over again (which i love doing). i mean dont get me wrong i love this first sound, but its fantastic that we have this chance to see them grew through there albums. starting off as a band straight out of college of everyone matures from when they leave school, and this is ther way. of course this may mean that they will lose some fans in the mean time who just loves the 'first coldplay sound' but i am enjoying their growth and am growing with them. so what i mean by growing with them, is listening to their influences that they used for X&Y. i think coldplay are brillant and certainly would be selling them self short if they were static in their style.... i mean we will always have there acoustic side as well

nicely put, you should start a book of coldplay poems...

i actually hop they dont. i dont mind the simpsons i used to watch it a little while ago, but i kinda get the feeling now that i would like coldplay to be on the simpsons, celebrities sort of get payed out when ther're on there. but if they do oh well i will definately watch it.

well there definately are some very valid points on here, but none better to my point of view than, "Let radiohead be radiohead and let coldplay be coldplay" i certainly dont want to dictate what coldplay should or should not be doing....

man i absolutely love this thread, thats the best relationship of friends i have even seen!
