  1. don't pay more attention to him. he's got enough.
  2. End of the world. For me at least.
  3. good luck!!!
  4. Point taken. I offer my apologies.
  5. very good point. I guess the difference is that it isn't a mainstream (discotheque type) song.
  6. shame on you Coldplay1317. Some people here (like me) thought for a moment you were telling the truth and defended you against the bans. Around here, we really care about Coldplay and this is no place to come in and do that just for fun.
  7. I really don't like the fact that a band of the quality and success of Coldplay is still writing on purpose new kind of music just for the sake of attracting new type of audiences. They're successful enough to do that. If a band like Coldplay does that, it seems they after success and making more money instead of making good and better music.
  8. Don't know. Maybe Chris is very brave and knowingly decided to sample "I Go To Rio" because he knows that he did not committed any plagiarism in Viva la Vida (which I believe is the case). But for the impartial eye it wasn't the smartest move at all. He could have come with an entirely original song and re-vindicate himself.
  9. What I am trying to say is that it is a very risky move to sample a song, especially after you have been accused several times of plagiarism. They used to make great hits (Yellow, Clocks) without sampling or using well known rhythms. And for the record, I have been advocating in defense of the boys since ETIAW was released, but I am finally starting to understand that this is no good.
  10. can someone please tell what is this thread about....
  11. Going back to the topic, I guess it was not Chris's most smartest move to use the sample of a very well known song for ETIAW after all the plagiarism claims for Viva la Vida. After all, maybe he is a big time plagiarist.
  12. I just got to say that it was not the smartest move for Mr. Chris Martin to use samples of a very well-known song for the new Coldplay single, especially considering all the plagiarism claims they got for Viva la Vida.
  13. all the best!!! it is a shame seeing someone leave!
  14. ^ your avatar is AMAZING!
  15. mucha suerte, estoy a la orden para lo que necesites!
  16. I think the video is pretty much what everyone of us was expecting after hearing the song. I am going to say that I like the song better than the video, just because it is too repetitive of what Coldplay has already done in the past. The four guys and a bunch of effects. The finale with Will playing drums is amazing, I concur. I really liked the Strawberry Swing video from the VLV era, but the VLV video was no good. LiT ii video was also good. From previous albums, I really think their best video is the one for The Scientist and maybe Don't Panic. I really hope they go back to creating real stories for each video.
  17. Don't want to argue anymore. I am very afraid I will also be banned.
  18. Don't really think this one qualifies as an insult. But there's nothing much I can do if you believe so. After all, once again, people in charge have the last word and apparently there's no right to criticism.
  19. Allegedly Coldplay134 or something very similar....It was very late last night when this guy started posting details about the next Coldplay moves.
  20. It was not an insult. Just my opinion.
  21. I don't think it will be the best Coldplay song ever. Not even close.
  22. I am gonna go with Princess of China also.
  23. I am not telling you what to do. At the end, you do whatever you want. I am just saying that I don't agree with the last sentence of NumbersGirl post, namely: "Not that we should have to explain that in the first place".
  24. I thought it was a general principle of justice and fairness to explain with detail any decision that affects the rights and interests of the users of this forum. But if you rather manage the forum like a third-world country dictatorship, that's up to you.
  25. how can you be so sure??? This guy has let out many details. You don't want to be that radical in case he proves to be right in time.
