Didn't Chris say the names of NEW songs?

it's very sad to read so many fans who are not happy with #ETIAW. In my opinion, they have their right, since the song is way too mainstream and cheesy using a very known sample. Hopefully, they will learn the lesson and won't do it never again.

As a music band, they are now thinking more in business ($$$) than on making music. There's no doubt that ETIAW will be number one in many many countries. I am sure it will have more success than VLV.

The real problem is that if this is the style that the boys will adopt on LP5, they cannot event be compared anymore with Radiohead. You could say that Coldplay was comparable with Radiohead on Parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y and MAYBE on VLVODAAHF. But not anymore. Now they are comparable on Debbie Gibson and mainstream pop hits.

I mean, I like the song, but Viva la Vida was a very mainstream song and should have been the most mainstream song of Coldplay ever. At the end, it does feel like they are trying to be the most mainstream band in the world (which not even U2 is). The problem with me is that regardless ETIAW is not the song I was expecting, I will always like the music they make. they are my fav band and always will be. I'll support them no matter what.

There's is no doubt that maybe the boys went "tooooo" mainstream. I really hope that they go back to something more intimate on the songs that will be on LP5.

I really liked the song. It is amazing. But I think it won't be in the album. Take into account that they have never mentioned the album when referring to the song. And I think this will be a unique song for its style. Therefore, it won't be part of LP5.
