Apparently Coldplay is performing second tonight. Just after Sam Smith.

What I mean is that it is possible for them to start touring, playing new material, and then release the album. Like in the MX era.

Let's also bear in mind that the band have declared that they like to play songs live first before releasing them since that can influence the ultimate studio recording. But I doubt we will see a proper full tour before the album is actually released.

I guess the plans are to tour Europe first, then South America and then North America.

As per ColdplayFrance, PH confirmed they will tour in France before 2015 ends. That's massive news. I really hope that we get the album before that!
