  1. The following article was released yesterday. NOTHING NEW, just a recap of things we already know. Coldplay New Album Update: ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ Expected This Year, Chris Martin Hints This May Be Their Last By Lorenzo Soliman | July 06, 2015 11:53 PM EDT As a quick follow up to their 2014 release "Ghost Stories," a new album from Coldpaly is expected to come out really soon and is expected to be called "A Head Full Of Dreams." Following their recent release, no tour shows were seen from the band. But in an interview with the band by Entertainment Weekly, Chris Martin revealed how he feels like the next release would be their last, after he compared it to the "Harry Potter" series. In line with that, tour shows should be expected from the band soon that is expected to promote both the 2014 and the new 2015 Coldplay album. "It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last 'Harry Potter' book or something like that," Martin explained. "Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it." Furthermore, a report from Gig Wise revealed how "Ghost Stories" is a part one of something big and that "A Head Full Of Dreams" is the finale to the series. "You know Harry Potter and things have installments, and you know we just made an introspective record and didn't really do much around it," he said. "Secretly we may have something else in mind, but I accidentally told Zane [Lowe] about it." "We're trying to make something colorful and uplifting and we're just having quite a good time making it because we've spent so long not making that kind of thing." With no official words released for the new Coldplay album as of now, fans expect the release of their upcoming release to happen before the year ends. 2. I think it is very unlikely that the album will be out this year. From what we are seeing, things are going slow in the studio (as usual).
  3. Yes. They are in the same street. The Beehive was a church.
  4. Extreme silence at Coldplay camp these days... I wonder if it is calm before the storm...
  5. Kygo is certainly a possibility since he made a remix of Midnight. However, note that Chris wrote Norwegian producerS. Thus, Stargate makes more sense since they are actually two guys!
  6. I think that the producers are Stargate. Hence, expect AHFOD to be a very poppy record. Stargate has produced Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Shakira.
  7. Really? That's old news!
  8. Awesome! Great job, guys!
  9. Let's be reasonable, guys: 1. AHFOD is not done yet. Less than a month ago, Rik Simpson simply said that the recording process is building momentum. 2. Thus, there is no real possibility of Glastonbury. Or an announcement of a world tour. Far less specific cities where they are going to play. 3. If band members are going to answer any questions, they are going to be about more general stuff (sort of like the Phil interview a couple of weeks ago). The only possibility is that they (briefly and vaguely, as they always do) comment on how is the recording process going on.
  10. What a performance of ASFOS! pure emotion (terrible voice)! I really don't mind!
  11. Having read Unbroken (the book) I think that Chris did a much better job on the lyrics of Atlas. Miracles lyrics are pretty vague whereas Atlas where very specific on the theme of the book. Maybe they had a spare song and Angelina Jolie thought it clicked with the hopeful end of the movie. Musically, I think Atlas is better also. Creates a very good mood for the movie. But I also like Miracles. So, definitively Atlas although Miracles is a good track also!
  12. My take on the lyrics (a bit different from the ones posted by ColdplayAtlas on Twitter: From up above I heard The angel sing to me these words And sometimes in your eyes I see the beauty in the world Oh, now I'm floating so high I blossom and die Send your storm and your lightning To strike me Between the eyes, eyes Sometimes the stars decide To reflect in puddles in the dirt When I look in your eyes I forget all about what hurts Oh, now I'm floating so high I blossom and die Send your storm and your lightning To strike me Between the eyes and cry Oh Leaving me to go Oh Oh, hey I'm floating above the world now Oh, hey I'm floating above the world now Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah! Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah!
  13. Can't wait for this! Out on 2018 or sooner?
  14. A google search of the title brings this: Possible inspiration?
  15. Random Acts was cool, in my opinion.
  16. Ghost Stories was a great title. Mylo Xyloto was VERY WEIRD. Let's wait to hear the songs and always take what Chris says with a grain of salt.
  17. He has said it a thousand times, obviously there's more to come!
  18. But, WTF, its just a title! can't wait for the songs!
  19. Will the hype seriously begin now?
  20. The best song in Ghost Stories, in my opinion. Always leaves me wanting for more.
