  1. ..Sounds like someone needs a sound-proof room divider! Anyhow, I thought this was interesting!:Eco-Friendly Heated Bra By Triumph International Lingerie Brand - Born Rich
  2. It's a Cornish bugle! :will::vuvuzela:
  3. Actually the number 42 refers to this important documentary film: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifmRgQX82O4]YouTube - Monty Python - How Not to Be Seen (Original version)[/ame]
  4. Keane - I think I started listening to them from the LastFM "artists you might also like to listen to.." when listening to something else. How about Muse?
  5. ..but didn't the Mayan calendar have only 365 days per year on it (sans the 1/4)? Maybe they were a little off, and we get an extra bonus 10 years, for worshiping the sun god and enjoying those chocolate-pepper drinks the Mayan high priests & kings consumed??:) The painting will still be alright too - two more years won't fade it all that much either! Here, this may explain things better:Mayan Calendar - 2012hoax
  6. I think part of it is what we remember, and what we forget. Since we often remember the good things (which were all new and exciting!) it seemed like the best of times to be young. But then there's the things we tend to forget - the anxiety attacks, the nightmares, the skinned knees and bee stings. Pluses and minuses at any age as I see it. But it's true - we have what are called "second childhoods" at times because sometimes we need that break to revive us, to breath new life into our lives. It's natural - and a good thing!:P
  7. I'm torn between chocolate chip mint and cookie dough (with chocolate chips).. :P
  8. Realize everyone goes through funks like that, and it's no big deal. Just get organized, sort out the problems, and get some lists of things to accomplish and just do them! Plow through it - about all that works for me. I'm frustrated myself right now - too much messy stuff to clean up, and it looks insurmountable - but bit by bit I know I'll get it done. It's the light levels too - getting darker again, cooler - waking up earlier means more light. Experts tell me that we need sunlight, difused in our eyes for good serotonin levels, and exercise - jumping - to improve mood. Maybe even light on the back side of our legs - knee area - though I can't recall why that is... Take some time to socialize too in a fun place as well - company is an antidote too. (like here!):-) One part sunshine, two parts rest, three parts love. (oh wait, that's the secret for growing a garden!)
  9. Hmm.. interesting, discovering the world of music - seemed like a natural to me. But getting into the details took a bit longer, true. I think it's a matter of temperament as well - the types of music we enjoy. For me, musical tastes varied widely as a child, from all those early albums of poloma blanca and ABBA to the Beatles, to modern pop - into today's music (Coldplay)- I guess I just flow with the times, occasionally pausing to enjoy some pleasant songs from the past. 10. Little Chocolate Sprinkles..:laugh3: The Firm was fined, but the mouse was firm as well - did it get fined too? Oh well, let the fur fly in the courtroom, as they say. I've heard of bottled beer with mice, but this story takes the cake (or bread) as is the case. The proof is in the pudding. Between mice and men, only a thin slice of difference exists.. :chef:
  11. Today I learned to read bills - half-way through thus far: Text of the Final Version of the Kerry-Lugar Bill: Enhanced Partnership with Pakistan Act of 2009 : ALL THINGS PAKISTAN But I still like the idea of dropping neatly wrapped blocks of cheese and chocolate, each with a little parachute all their own, on the people in need. Come to think of it, I wish someone would drop those sorts of things here as well!:laugh3:
  12. How true - Ratkins diet - or Carbohydrate diet perhaps.. and later, it joined the Atkins/Ratkins diet ;). Doesn't the package mention that there's a surprise in every loaf? :P Maybe this is really bread for cats - hence the added dietary supplement of real mouse, not just mouse by-products?:laugh3:
  13. Welcome to Coldplaying Home to over one trillion loosely connected nerve endings. :laugh3: Nice of you to join!
  14. But the biggest crime of all is that the nutritional label is incorrect! Just think of all that added protein, B vitamins, and a bit more fat (depending on how fat the mouse was, that is..). Come to think of it, the mouse looks rather slim - was it diet bread?:laugh3:
  15. now what was I thinking? I lost it! :laugh3: Nevahmind.:sunny: ommmmmm ommmmm ommmmm...

  20. Here's a way to find out more about the flood and the U.S. effort for relief in Pakistan: YouTube - USEmbassyIslamabad's Channel Embassy of the United States Islamabad Pakistan - Home If any of my fellow U.S. citizens are concerned, please contact your Senator or Representative and ask them to authorize more assistance to aid in the relief effort in Pakistan. From what I hear, there's a bill winding it's way through Congress as we speak, and it might need a little nudging to get it past the final hurtles. :)

  24. Danube Waltz.. hmm! Sailing by Christopher Cross, also Enya's works - quite a few of them! Little River Band's Lady...

    Oh OK! A new way to learn music - makes sense! Hmm... but what about the real thing? We can have anything we want, so why not real instruments? Drums, guitars, tambourines, keyboards, vocals...
