  1. Perhaps if they had enough else to occupy their time, and got a lot of attention for their schoolwork & good deeds.. maybe telling the parents that their kids will be taken away if they don't do something.. ? Change the dynamics of the situation somehow, or we'll all be overrun!
  2. I think there was a giant comet involved there, hence the layer with the iridium... With this, we don't even get the giant explosion and the dust!
  3. YEA!!! You must be so luxuriating in the peacefulness of it all... I'm so happy to hear of your good fortune! The upstairs animals were informants?? How bizarre!! I have to wonder now about witness protection programs..
  4. Aiieee!! We're doomed!!:shocked2::shocked2::shocked2: Bye, Bye, civilized world.. One small step for Chav, one giant leap for mankind right into the abyss..
  5. Spanish? Umm... Nochas Nachos, Buenas Mucho Gracias!:laugh3: Como Estas?
  6. *Tilt* goes the pinball machine?:laugh3: Do they offer Pinball on Wii as well?? Anyhow, perhaps the 13 & 14 year olds should be forced to get married and raise the children correctly at that age, and to teach their children not to engage in sex until they're at least 18. Ironically, it's families like these that are the future, as they have 10 children, while the rest of us maybe have 1 or 2..:stunned:
  7. Is Barcelona having any festivities?:):sombrero:
  8. I know a few families where this was the case as well; but yes, the fathers did take on the responsibility, even though they were very young. Well, they were still irresponsible, but at least supportive of the family! So it's important to have families, and to teach the children by example, and to spend time with them so they feel good about themselves, and become productive in society. But I know families where the kids are raised on auto-pilot.. so it's helpful if in school they learn things the right way, whereas at home, it's pure chaos.. What I've seen is kids pattern their behavior after their parents, and that takes some teaching to overcome; it's not easy to change the cycles. But mostly it takes parents who take an interest in their kids, and give them lots of praise and love for their daily accomplishments, as well as setting them strait when they don't do their work, etc. And enough leeway, so they don't wind up in a Monastic Order.;)
  9. But it does sort of make one wonder what life was like in those days.. Anyhow, yes, this is a problem today, and some of it is the result of lack of pride in one's own actions, and the lack of good parenting. It's always been an issue though, and is it any worse than in the 60's or 70's? Or in the 80's with all the gang shoot-outs in the poor neighborhoods, involving 12 and 13-year-olds? None of it's good for anyone, but how big really is the problem??
  10. Sounds devious, but it's important for his sake.:P You're such a good influence Carla, we'll give you a gold star in the book!:laugh3::cool:
  11. Hello Tracie Morgan of the pirate ship Blackbeard!:bandana: - long time, no see!:) Have you tranquilized the animals living above you yet, or were they finally returned to the Zoo?
  12. There are some strip poker games, which build suspense, and simultaneously sharpen mental skills!:laugh3: Anime seems to have some pretty attractive characters..;) (with pronounced bosoms:P)
  13. And probably nobody really can come to a consensus on what to do about it.. Educating the young children in families like these does help, but sometimes if the children aren't loved or wanted at home, it's almost better that they be raised by loving adoptive parents, and have better role models, more stability, etc. It's really not a new phenomenon, but perhaps more pervasive today than it was years ago. In the middle ages, people got married at 14, so today we think this is bizarre, but at one time, adult life began at an early age! But then, life was harder, and survival tougher, so at that age, children had to know and do a great deal more.. I'm just rambling here..
  14. Well, if you compare the two... On the one hand, there's Wii, and on the other, there's Boobs!:laugh3: (that sounds bad!). Putting it another way, one needs to experience more than just games; there's real-life experience, and getting interested in knowledge, and life skills.. And boobies!:P (*well, it's a thread about boobies, so it must be said*)
  15. Good advice! I think it's alright to imagine things (whether one reads romance novels or looks at pictures), but quite another to become involved with someone else at such a young age. Sounds like he isn't allowed any flexibility at home, which may later-on lead to rebellion against his strict upbringing.. But then again, spending hour after hour with Wii:dozey:..
  16. Who needs magazines, when there's the internet..:laugh3::P Good Luck Carla.;) And I think he will be alright too, as long as you get a ladder & help him get out of the castle once in a while..;);)
  17. Sounds quite old-country style thinking.. why does she want him to become a monk? I guess I understand a bit from my own experiences - you'll have to help him escape.;)
  18. They were on TV last night - Link TV!! Quite funny and yes, insane!:laugh3: Reminds one of the bar scene at college..
  19. ABBA coffee! :P
  20. Good Afternoon Bryce!
  21. That's normal, actually. But he needs other social outlets, for even the monasteries require a variety of skills, like hoeing vegetable beds, and ringing bells, etc. Work skills are useful!
  22. That could lead to blindness!:stunned:
  23. :laugh3:No silly, just maybe if he saw an image, he might think it's natural and normal to find women's bodies attractive. Otherwise, he could wind up introverted, awkward, and guilt-ridden when he does have a relationship. Do you want him to wind up in a monastic order??:P
  24. Well, the mind has a way of wandering all on it's own about at that age..;):laugh3: Jail isn't as bad as Hades, so I'd sacrifice a little to show him what a boobie looks like!:P
