yeah i guess so. we were at a uni today for a biology excursion and once it finished we were able to walk around and explore the uni. one of the guys at my school in the year above me is israeli. and he went up to some of the people who were anti-israel and handing out flyers etc at uni. all he wanted was to talk and the minute he said he was israeli they told him to fuck off. hes anti war too. and they couldn't even talk to him on the issue. rather no opposition or mediation on the issue. it was really poor manners both as it is hypocritical. i just hope not all people are like that. it was really cruel. hes pro democracy and free speech and listens to both sides but when he just went to initiate a conversation he was told to procreate with himslef. just disgusting...

it is true that different news stations present different sides. but how can one be so bouyed by the media? have we forgotten what the media is? it is a business just like a supermarket or ebay. the buyer has a desire and the business delivers on that desire. news stations and newspapers are there to make money above all else. their stories are delivered for a certain group of people, who want a side of the story. yet many of us find that the media is the sole ocular proof for any current world issue. the fact is thats its just not. hey and i'm not being biased saying this. fox news it marketed to the capitalist, pro globalisation extreme right wing, while other news sources cater for the more left wing. we need to open our eyes more to see the true dynamics of the world however unfortunate it may be. i say this is done by speaking to those on both sides who are affected and are actually a citizen of that country etc. print is not enough to convince and is not the final say.... for either side

i bought this crappy carved coconut head of a rasta in nth queensland earlier this year. that was a waste of money. but at least it looks cool. he has a joint in his mouth and dreads. definetly the biggest ever waste of 60 quid.

i used to play cricket when i was younger from like when i was 12 till i was 14. one game when i was 13 we had this streaker run across the pitch. at a junior cricket game? it was nuts. but a hell of a funny experience.
