you are so shallow in respect to this conflict. if you were living in your house and the english (i'm using this example because you are scottish, lol) began launching attacks on you because you were catholic say, and just because you were there, but you have no other place to go... what would you do? let them slowly and systematically destroy you? that is the situation in israel. the jewish people fought so hard to establish a country of their own (israel is the only country in the world with judaism as its official religion) and have no other place to go except assimilate if you lose the country...

so does that mean no communication? or pretend like it never happened? i'm really unsure. we've had fights before. but never to this extent...

Yesterday i had a massive fallout with one of my now ex-close friends (i hope it doesn't stay that way). *she said something really mean to me, and there are parts of her persona that she has shown that really need to change* but i don't want to bow into pressure calling her first as it was her fault for the whole thing and my guy friends that ive told have said the same. if i do that, nothing of use will ever happen. and its only been a day, but it hurts so much and it is so hard giving her the cold shoulder. has this happened to any of you? if so any advice on what should i do?

yeah. anti semitism was accepted for hundreds of years in europe.. look at the pogroms and the spanish inquisition where jews were burnt at the stake for not being christian. hizbollah fight in that way and israel have to respond.
