XFM said they would have special Coldplay news on monday. anyone know anything about this yet? or is it just mentioning that they will play the song and it will be available for download tomorrow..because thats what I saw right now on the XFM site.

well, first of all they look so similiar-the bright blue eyes and scruffyness. they are both so beautiful! and the best men EVER! lol. yes..there is something coldplay-ish about Hugh. ;)

any more guesses to what chris is saying at the end of Life is for Living from the 2003 live dvd? because i have the track on my mp3 and i can never figure out what he's saying... "In the end, there's only us.. Oh my friend, there's only us... In a ___ with time wiv us? cuz in the end, there only uusss.....ohhh...." maybe it will forever be a mystery.

i think they cut out guy from the picture in the online version cuz he was taking attention away from chris martin--guy looks so hot!!! :D

hey, random questions but.. can anyone see those 3 coloured bands on his fingers? i saw when he was playing the piano he was wearing his wedding ring. but i think those 3 fingerbands are gone...and no "MTF" sign. so that era is over! :embarassed:

YAY! new chris martin images are always good! he looks so hot! i love him with short hair, and almost baldness. When he grows his hair long its like a wig of golden locks. Shorter is sexier. and yes, i like his wierd movements. =) At least this proves he is still alive-havent seen any new chris stuff in a while.

To be a true coldplay fan, you have to live through people saying your a loser for listening to coldplay, ex: "You know how I know ur gay? You listen to coldplay." I just smile and admit that i am probably a loser. It doesnt bother me when people say coldplay sucks. I dont know why. If everyone was in love with them, it wouldnt make us special would it? I HATE PANIC AT THE DISCO. They are the opposite of coldplay in that their music sucks and the lyrics are just repetitive, trying to be meaningful, THERE IS NO MELODY just random sound. it acutally hurts my head and i cannot listen to it. and all the stupid teenagers who love it. like wth man...sometimes i hate teenagers..lol. and no matter what people say, Coldplay is a huge and popular and LOVED band. everyone has at least head of their singles and probably has one or two of them on their mp3. Like when x&Y first came out, I was listen to this girls mp3 and Speed of Sound was on their and all the rest of the songs were Japanese Pop. so yeah...you get my point. The point is that they make GOOD music that RESINATES with everyone and all ages. they have actual musical talent and im quite sure chris martin is a musical genious.

i love it. its very beautiful. i truly hope the new cd artwork is dark-toned like that. i can't imagine a light-coloured cd cover when all the songs are supposed to be "darker". i was thinking randomly when i saw a green poster in the subway today, that coldplay's album should never be green. could you imagine a green coldplay cover? for Fix You single it was alright...but coldplay and the colour green dont go together. my random opinion. :)

So, Coldplay has mentioned some random dates and festivals they will be playing-but does anyone have an idea about a world-wide tour? Like others have said, no real official UK dates and etc. I'm bringing this up because I live in Vancouver and don't think I can make it to the Pemberton Festival, therefore wondering when they will play a concert in Vancouver. Any guesses to when the tour details will be released?

i agree. tracklisting is important as it will be the album we play on repeat in our stereos when we are in our room or in the stereo in our car. it also defines the album. like prospekt said, he would want the best songs on the album, even if there were 8 rock songs and 1 ballad, while coldplay wants a more evenly mixed album. and chris martin stated there's still credibility in making great albums (or something like that). so let them argue about it until the best conclusion is reached. the album isnt coming out until june anyway.

To whom it may concern... As stated above, i read the book. I just the first part: "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy", not the rest of "the triology in five parts". I jotted down some Coldplay-esque things i picked up on. They may be meaningless, but they nevertheless are coldplay-y. =): 1. DON'T PANIC 2. 42 3. The colour yellow (Vorgon ships are huge yellow balls) 4. The word "Technicolor" is mentioned in the book ("Life in Technicolor") 5. The whole deserted planet thing and coldplay stepping out of the spaceship hatchway in the Talk video could relate to the planet of Magrathea in the book? Also, Coldpatrix said the robot in Talk was inspired from the book somehow? 6. The word "Prospect" is mentioned in the book 7. Norway is mentioned in the book (The Norwegian Live EP? lol) 8. It was mentioned in a sentance in the book that "time is not a concern" - Amsterdam style. =) 9. An ODE is featured in the book (Coldplay wanted to make their own strange ode?: Ode to Deoderant?) 10. The word "Parachutes" is in the book as it is mentioned that, I think it was, "500 completely naked women floated down onto the planet by parachutes." lol. 11. Earth being mentioned in the Guide to the Galaxy as "Harmless" The above statements are grasping at straws, but apart from Coldplay-ness, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a very good novel. It is confusing, somewhat scientific and philosophical, and very funny and entertaining. I usually don't like reading "funny" books, but the story is neat and I can try wrapping my head around the concepts and ideas and secrets of the book for a while. I'm still confused by it even having finished reading it. I reccommend this book! (Like always, Chris Martin proves his good taste! =)

"42" is a name on the tracklist so it will be/is one of coldplay's new songs. but in past threads, it was mentioned that the number 42 is important as described in the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy? someone please explain this, as i have borrowed the book from someone and still not have read it and wondering what i should be looking for. ANY help greatly appreciated!!!

Coldplay is being very mysterious... a white link at the bottom of the page? their making the next album a treasure all fans have to search for. YAY! we now have ALBUM ART-or...a hint of it. its so colourful, and messy. =) so now its not called 42? its called Famous Old Painters? Why can't they just give us the title so we can at least think about it and what it will bring. This is seriously a rush of coldplay to the head, and after all this waiting...

omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg I live in Vancouver and omg omg, Pemberten is a really small (nothing) town according to my friend and it took her 1 hr to find a pizza place when she was there. but omg, wth is coldplay going there? and jay-z? its so random. o well! i will buy the tickets no matter how much the cost. this is amazing. omg omg omg. i cant wait until march 28 when i can buy the tickets! coldplay is being really random. theyre announcing tour dates but no album details? theyre up to something...

hmm. im thinking the colour will be black, to match the dark mood. so im not sure tan or white would go. plus its been done in AROBTTH. I know that I just want it to be very different from the last album artworks-if its a completley new and seperate cd and sound, it should look different. anything extreme would be nice. =)

i will skip school for sure. run to the mall and buy the cd as fast as i can. run home. play cd on cd player or old-school portable cd player while in bed. from first track to last. because this moment of "the first time" of album 4 only comes ONCE. and then i usually drift off to sleep when music is playing and wake up when a new song is playing and dream merges with reality and is will be probably, most beautiful moment in 3 years since X&Y has left. =D. and then i will tell my friends, but they wont care cuz they dont like coldplay. =)

dont know. but a couple hundred including as many instrumentals i could find, lives, b-sides, rarities, etc. it says "2.35 GB" =)
