I agree. The lack of guitar is very special. And when you listen to them, it doesn't feel like it's missing anything, because they compensated with so much more. Though, if they started using guitar a lot...it would kinda lose the...special touch they have. But it would be interesting to hear a few songs with guitar. :)

I like that song! :wacky: One of my favorites from Showbiz... and Marek: Citizen Erased is the BEST song off that album. Frickin' insane.

Oh wow...me and Chelsea (ApproximatelyInfinite) were just talking about this! I love Radiohead, but comparing them to Coldplay is one of the most ridiculous things in the world.

^^Me too. Those rarities like 'For You' are just simply beautiful. And when I hear it, I can't help but think 'Why is it not out there??? It's so beautiful...sometimes better than their studio releases!' But then I realized that those songs are nice little treasures for true fans to find and enjoy.

Awww that's so sad. :cry: I've never really thought much of any 'problems' they might be having. Thinking about it more would just be too depressing. Sometimes when I hear 'Trouble', I get kinda nervous....(I know, it probably sounds kinda stupid) because it's just so powerful. The piano...the lyrics...Chris's voice. All together it's just so heart-wrenching! It's like any second I could just burst into tears. I imagine a man losing everything he has and loves, because if a stupid mistake me made, and now he has to live with the sadness and guilt for the rest of his life. But that is just my interpretation of the lyrics, I'm sure they had a different thought when creating this song.

It's been waaaaay too long. I've been getting all antsy for the past year! Hopefully if they are taking all this time to make it, it means it'll come out frickin' amazing.

Do any of you guys create 'stories' in your head when you hear a Coldplay song? Like, you have your own special understanding of the lyrics, so you have a 'movie' playing in your head based on the songs? I do that a lot. :)
