of course not. you've gone from one extreme (capital punishment) to another (smile and thank you). there is a gray area which seems to be constantly overlooked. talking and negotiation of all sides would do a lot of good instead of bypassing all that and fighting.

true. for years now, ever since i was old enough to understand these global problems, a lot have been focused on these religions and the constant problems that arise from attempted solutions. it's ludacris. exactly as someone said earlier, circles. the cycle must be stopped as extremists prove pointless issues at the cost of people's lives with suicide bombs etc which just causes more anger and breeds more extremists.

i just saw this on the news and i think it's absolutely ridiculous. the statement that anyone who insults the religion should face capital punishment is total bs. there is so much wrong with that statement, i don't know where to begin!

nothing extravagant. working for a cafe till the end of the year between classes. in a way i want her to change it back to friday since that is the actual date of her bday, but at the end of the day it's her special day and she can do what she wants...BUT-i still would've wanted to go...lol yes, that's life.

i could but i work on sunday too at 11 and to be there on time (keeping in mind this is a new job lol) i have to wake up at 5am due to bus/train times... see i could have made it on friday, but they just decided to move it to saturday. that is what i don't get. i mean they want me to go, but they have done the one thing that makes it impossible...

no, it's pretty goood. but on the weekend it's a little restricted with frequency. i work till 4 on sat (even if transport went smoothly) i'd get there just after 6:30 then have to leave a few hours later. she's planning to go out that night too so i wouldn't be able to really party. it would be a waste of time overall...it's ok i suppose

gosh, speaking of feeling better...one of my best friends is having her 20th birthday party on friday..yet i can't go because i have to work on the weekend and she lives 2+ hours away.... i'd have to take public transport which was ok untill 10 mins ago when they changed the party from fri to sat...i don't get it lol i don't feel that bad now but still.
