it's all shot in close-ups against a green screen with just a bunch of after effects added to it.... they probably did it in the Bakery considering they built a green screen room in there

it's cool how they are really sticking to that "home made feel" they have been talking so much about... ie. Violet Hill video, the viva la vida music videos, their clothes, hand painted instruments, even their concerts seem more homey and less wrought with spectacle... truth be told though i miss some aspects of the grandeur that was the X&Y Coldplay... the Speed of Sound and Fix You music videos had such a galactic scale it was very dazzling but at the same time well balanced with their "down to earth" personalities... and their concerts are certainly more intimate this tour but the set-list of songs seem, at least to me, to be too epic to be played with that intimate mindset... (except Lovers in Japan, that part of the concert is perfectly sublime) i love the clothes the instruments and the sound of the new album... but honestly i'd like to see a video from them that looks like it cost more than $200

i hope so but the fine print says only 3500 people will win a pair of tickets.... but then again that mean that only 7,000 people will see Coldplay at MSG... and that number seems suspiciously low.:thinking:

it just looks like a cheap video to me... shot on location with a handheld camera probably over two days... but i could see "the powers that be" giving the band the ultimatum of either doing the free shows... or an expensive music video.... and if i win tickets to one of the free shows then i am very happy with their decision to do a cheap video... but if not, then i wish they would have opted for a more expensive music video.

i am excited beyond words... it sounds like the album is practically done... and i think "time is short" means that we may have some new to listen to earlier than we thought. what a great day!!!!... Coldplay and Halo 3... who could ask for more?

I am a beginner piano player and am looking to purchase my own piano... i don't have a lot of space so a keyboard with weighted keys or an upright would be preferable... but mostly i want to get a piano that is able to play Coldplay songs the way they do. i was thinking about the Yamaha GT20 but being a noob or novice like i am, i'd like to save some money. so what piano should i get? Or What else do i need to know before i buy a piano? thanks
