I have several American friends in the U.S. I’ve known them for years, specially one of them I’ve been writing to for ten years. Whenever I go to the US, it’s a real delight to visit this country and to see my friends if I have the opportunity. To say French dislike the American is a gossip. It only comes from the war in Iraq where French refused to take part to this war and it’s understandable. Numerous American soldiers died for nothing and this war has destroyed American families that will have never put themselves together because of this huge loss. As a result, we’ve passed ourselves as cowards. I think this gossip comes from a real truth that is most French dislike Bush but it has no connection with the US population

No i don't know who will be elected at the presidential elections nor when Coldplay will release their next album, i'm not a medium to guess it. I only know that the next president will be elected by the majority, on the first tour people will really choose who they want to be the president ; on the second tour, they will choose the one that will fight the candidate they don't want as a president because they won't have an other choice.

I know people that pay I.S.F. They deserve what they earn because they work very hard. It's normal if they pay this extra income tax to help the government. As for underdogs, I also know people that take advantage of all the money they cash (different helps) because they earn less than the minimum salary (part-time job, unemployed, or others). It seems they don't feel like working to earn some more money and prefer to stay at home watching TV whereas working people pay for them with their income taxes. :veryangry2:

I think your sentence doesn't stand to reason if you read again what you said in red colour. :lol: If the country becomes as you've said, companies will be compelled to start afresh abroad and the unemployment rate will get much worse. We're in a democratic republic that must go on. More and more companies are moving abroad because they pay too much taxes. Managers lay off French workers to hire cheaper autochtones where they have started again their companies. :confused:

Ca y est, j'ai enfin pu acheter deux billets pour aller voir Police en concert en Septembre à Paris. Les billets ont été vendus en 1/2 journée !! J'ai trouvé des billets sur un site, c'était cher mais ça vaudra le déplacement. Pour ceux qui viennent en voiture, vous me croirez ou pas, ils doivent aussi réserver leur parking !! J'irai en métro.
