this is the first song i dloaded off the leak, i have no idea why, so i had nothing to compare it too, my thoughts of this song are still untainted and untouched by the other songs

oh yes, this guy is very shitty bass player

well thats what less than mediocre means! :rolleyes: Also, Jonny is not an Eddie Van Halen, and he still is an amazing guitarist!

also, the bass lines are not supposed to blow you away most of the time, its the way it fits into the song. i mean this especially for white shadows

It never ceases to amaze me how F***ing Brilliant this album is. This seriously my favorite album ever! The variety is great! Each song is not like the other (except beginning and end)! Sometime on this thread ill make my own review of each song track by track

Actually i AM a bass player myself. I have noticed that there are some songs with the repetitive root note, but so many of his bass lines are so much more than that (amsterdam, X&Y, Life In Technicolor, Speed Of Sound) many more i could a lot more if i wanted to waist my time

Now My Feet won't touch the ground =Strawberry Swing The line above is surely in Strawberry Swing, we all agree. So I think at an earlier point the song was named Now My Feet won't tough the ground, but i think a better name for the mood of this song was strawberry swing. Sadly there is no 'sequel to are beloved Safety song, and yellow b side, No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground. Still, as sad as that made me, we still have the AMAZING track, Strawberry Swing. I just wanted to pint that out there

oh Amsterdam is a really cool bass line

it doesnt matter who was 'best'. This is coldplay, and they all work together to make the best freaking music we've all ever heard.

you can listen to high quality at myspace or iheartmusic and the song is exactly like it is. the one we had is just quality

i mean it was a dissapointment i thought it would be better

id rather have more heavy material and be overwhelmed by an amazingly good song instead of having a bad one to get a break
