Is it me or does Jonny look a bit like Prince William in the 2nd photo? It's me, isn't it?- Rate the Coldplay song above you
8 for One I love Things I don't Understand.- How much money have you spent on Coldplay?
Wow, Angie. $30k. That's amazing!! Do you save in between tours to have money to do this? I hope you aren't in debt or tapped out the retirement fund. But it is worth it. :laugh3: I can't even imagine. If I could afford to do it, I think I would, too, though. And 7 trips to look for Jonny! How do you know where to look? And to answer the thread question: I have spent about $2500.00 between tickets (only bought one at face value. The rest I paid alot through a third party to get good seats--and I bought tickets for my Dad and Uncle in 2006). Hotel in NYC, CD's, 1 tour program...I don't have too much memorabilia. I wanted to see them in London at Wembley but I don't think I'll be making it. The economy has affected me slightly and I think I need to save now. I still want to go to London regardless of seeing a gig or not so maybe in two years or so. :)- What is your favourite Coldplay song today?
A Message.- Gwyneth...
I tried the Master Cleanse Lemonade diet a few years ago to cleanse and detox. They recommend at at least a week but the more the better. Yeah, it lasted half a day. As soon as I had to drink that nasty seasalt water, that was it. The lemonade isn't so bad. It's water, real lemon juice, some cayenne pepper and grade B Maple syrup. None of that processed syrup like Aunt Jemima. The Grade B is really good and I liked the lemonade. Ick, that salt water....- 18-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
Thanks, Kirsten. I didn't know that. Last I checked (I think a few days ago) there were still tickets. I've been wanting to go to London for years and years--not necessarily for the show. Going in September would have been good timing, that's all...see a show, meet up with friends all while visiting somewhere I've dreamed of. So for now I'll just postpone my London trip to another date, that's all. It'll give me more time to save for another time. :)- 18-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
We'll see, Cookie. I'd really like to go. I don't have the $$...I'd have to charge it. I DID have the money 6 months to a year ago..plenty actually, however, my savings is depleted since I bought a money pit for a house.- AC/DC, Coldplay, Guess Who Voted Nicest Autograph Givers
Not boring at all. Keep going. Who else have you met? Just musicians?- 18-Sep-2009: Wembley Stadium, London - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
I am mulling over the idea of Wembley 9-18-09. I need: 1.) Passport (I'll get right on that!). 2.) Tickets (There are some still available so I better decide quick!) 3.) Flight (I'm researching). I'd probably fly in a day or two before the show and fly out Sunday 9-19-09. 4.) A place to stay. Where are my fellow American friends (Lori, Angie and Mel) staying? I'd need a place close to the Stadium. Any English friends want to give any travel advice? Places to stay/go? Anyone know of a nice bed and breakfast close to there? I'd rather stay somewhere like that. Message me. Thanks!- Did you see coldplay in 2008?
I was blessed to be able to see them 3 times in 2008. Philadelphia 7-25-08 Today Show VIP winner 6-27-08 Philadelphia 11-01-08 I feel so lucky. I wish I can see them again overseas but finances won't allow.- Where Were You When You First Heard "Violet Hill"?
I was in the car with my son on the way to his school. I had logged in online early to get a listen the day it released but the site must have crashed because I couldn't get in. I was disappointed I wouldn't be able to hear it the morning it was released. But the radios station played it. It made for a good day.- The Buckland Religion~Official Thread
Or you could get a job at the Starbucks downstairs. :laugh3:- Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland pays $3.4M for a condominium in Manhattan
Agreed. Shouldn't be. I'm surprised there isn't a privacy thing Jonny could have signed or requested so that this sensitive info could not get out there. If such a thing does exist I wonder why it wouldn't have been utilized.- The Buckland Religion~Official Thread
I agree. They shouldn't have posted the address. It just seems wrong.- No Coldplay Split Says Joy Buckland (Jonny's Mum)
Nevermind Angie, I just saw the post...- No Coldplay Split Says Joy Buckland (Jonny's Mum)
Hey Angie! He bought a house in NYC? I hadn't heard that. Do you know what part?- If you could sleep with a member of Coldplay who would it be
Of course. I feel much like Jenjie does.- If you could sleep with a member of Coldplay who would it be
I just want to give them all a hug...and maybe a kiss for Jonny. That's all.- Show Off Your Postcards for the Postcards from Far Away Project!
