  1. not bad at all, I know there's plenty of 2Pac material to go through, but I think this one song fits the tempo pretty good.
  2. I am going to speculate and say that the show was filmed. the official beastie boys tribute was posted, so why not? I can hope right? ;) I sat in Section W1 - last section - dead center view in Row 8 (only 10 rows in the section). Beautiful sound and atmosphere where almost all the other Coldplay fans around me were pretty much singing each song, except "Up In Flames" I mean I was singing it but others felt it was time to sit, not me, standing up the whole time. Great show visually, and everything else. I hope to see them again in the next year
  3. my friend just called me, show ended with ETIAW.
  4. if it is, Friday should be AMAZING. well it will be nonetheless.
  5. I was contemplating using the Lot across from the Bowl, the one with the park benches, but since I used the Hollywood and Highland lot before (for Jimmy Kimmel Live, well the recent Coldplay one), I will definitely use that instead when I go Friday night. thanks for the reference Dianne. :)
  6. YAWN! Any other venue and I would venture that any other promoter wouldn't give two craps about this. Live Nation has nothing better to do then sue for the wrong reasons. I was sitting in the Angels Stadium parking lot for 5 hours before I saw the U2 show there last year, I witnessed PLENTY of bootleg t-shirts being sold. Hell I even saw cops on horses patrolling for drinkers. Absolutely NOTHING was done to those bootleg sellers. and yes LIVE NATION promoted the U2 360 tour so if it has to be said, Live Nation is hypocritical when it comes to this subject. So I call B:censored:T! on LiveNation ...................anyways........................ Through no luck of my own, my cousin texts me saying, "Hey my sister's boss is selling 2 Coldplay tickets for the 4th, she would buy mine if someone takes me" I replied, "HELL YES!" - found out they were at face value for the BACK OF THE HOUSE. I have gone to many shows and have been privileged to see shows at a decent view, hell I saw Radiohead at Coors Amp. (now called Cricket Wireless Amp) in 2003 from the GA LAWN, but it was BEAUTIFUL! So yeah no complaints whatsoever from me. I heard about those apparent random seat upgrades, so it's a small possibility, but I am not going to hope for it. I was lucky enough to get a ticket and I am going to enjoy the show, no matter where I sit  This means I have to work on a new and updated signature picture below ;)
  7. I also won tickets from KROQ, and found out that the promotional tickets given away by KROQ will probably be let in first (don't quote me on that). I do remember the KROQ guy calling me both times (1st for the winning sentence, and the reschedule) and telling me to line up on Orange and Hawthorne. Then the email sent out yesterday from 1iota.com: ...so there's a chance that if you got tickets from KROQ, you will be in front, think of like the Depeche Mode 2009 "block party" - which I went to as well, which was massive by the way. I plan on leaving around 1-2pm. My cousin is coming from Fontana, California (where she lives) to go with me (i live near the 60/605 interchange without giving my location :laugh3: ), she is a die-hard fan as I am, so naturally I called her when I won the tickets. I am now relieved that it will be Thursday as there is no weather related issues that day. I have planned our route via Google Maps, and have a backup plan if traffic becomes an issue prior to arrival. Hope to meet some of you there. COLDPLAY ROCKS!
  8. waaaaahhhhhh BRIAN ENO "RUINED" COLDPLAY....WAHHHHHH baby need a bottle?
  9. I have since "adjusted" :sneaky: my sig for my favorite lyrics of the song! thanks for the link.
  10. I would also like to have a CD if possible. my email for contact is - [email protected]
  11. A technical school, my financial aid and a loan are going to cover everything, so basically all I got to do is show up to class everyday. hence, the show conflicts with my school schedule. I normally would just say, screw it, miss a day, but I am not so willing now considering I get my certification in 7 months! ABOUT THE VENUE I saw Santana there in 2000 (opening up was Mana), and Coldplay in 2006; I can say that this venue is not built for most bands, although Depeche Mode have the ambiance in their music to blend into the shitty acoustics of the venue.
  12. Sadly (at least for now), it seems I can't go. I just started school (to be a Computer Tech/Network Tech) and it runs Monday-Thursday nights and the show is on a Tuesday night :(.
  13. my Flickr pics: [taken by my cousin, using my cell phone, the Verizon Wireless Envy] {you will also notice pics of the celebrities in front of her and a pic of the 2nd opening act} http://www.flickr.com/photos/28689482@N02/sets/72157606228754614/
  14. Where were you sitting? Were you in Col. 7, Row 6 by chance? :sneaky:
  15. here are the celebs (from left to right): Bar Refaeli - Leo D. Jennifer Meyer - Toby Maguire
  16. That doesn't really answer the question: what are you mad about really? 1. You're "mad" they didn't play more from the 1st album 2. You're "mad" because they played most of the new album, (hmm..... new album coincides with a new tour.......plot thickens!) 3. You're "mad" because you thought your ticket price was not worth the time, even though you didn't consider the fact of all the production costs that went into this night's show, security,etc... a. you say Coldplay's not exactly your #1 band *they're not mine either* b. one of your posts gives the impression that you were basically there to go with your sibling -- if you did see reviews from last night, you would have gotten the idea (more or less) of how the show was going to go. yet being a "casual fan" rather than a "cliche" fan [let's not forget your night would have been all the better if they had played "Trouble"] you decided to go. -- [you get what you paid for, well, that's to say for the rest of us]
  17. if you don't mind lillylove, I am going to modify my sig, to reflect the shows (Coldplay) I've been to. :smug:
  18. what are you mad about really? the price did not equal the sum of your happiness? I've seen Pearl Jam numerous times, saw them at Forum July 13, 1998 (right after I turned 17 - to give you an idea of how old I am) and loved them since (although I have like them since "Vs" came out. I have paid regular ticket prices for U2 (for 2 out of 3 shows they did in 2001 at the Pond in Anaheim) well worth it. I went to a ticket broker, even, for the 1st night of the LA vertigo show on April 5, 2005 and paid close to $200 for a floor seat, WORTH IT. The only time I can recall that I didn't get my money's worth is when I saw Morrissey at The Greek Theatre in 1997 (October 12, 1997 to be exact) the idiots that invaded the stage during the 1st encore song, stopped the show, because the setlist had Morrissey and his band playing a few more songs after that, but said idiots ruined it.
  19. I paid close to $100 for my "nosebleed" seat, and that's including fees and what not, not to mention $20 for parking, bought 2 shirts, and drove from close to 25-30 miles out (where I live from the venue)..... I got my money's worth  TallGuyCM - you are sounding like the idiot next to me griping about what the title was to a song (when in fact Coldplay were playing "The Scientist"), and thus confirming the said title of the song with his friends loudly so everyone could hear his stupidity.

Death And All Of His Friends * Ryan Seacrest, Toby Maguire (and wife/gf), Leonardo Decaprio (and his Israeli gf - Bar ?) - as I was told by my cousin and her friend (they sat in Floor Section A Row 19) [so Toby Maguire (and wife/gf), Leonardo Decaprio (and his Israeli gf - Bar ? were all sitting in Floor Section A Row 18) I sat in Col. 7 Row 6 Seat 6 (and the band did their crowd part {were they sing Yellow and Will sings "Death Will Never Conquer"} somewhere near me in [what I believe was Col. 4,5,or 6 - dont know, but it was close] ) I believe that genuinely the band was very pumped when they were testing the crowd for the lyrics to Lost (the studio version) and we did not mess up and it really got them going for more. FUCKING AWESOME!!!! {I WILL UPDATE THIS POST with pics from my cell phone that my cousin held up from the floor} here's the 1st, the backside of Leo and his chick: [what the hell was he doing sporting a "Boston" hat in Los Angeles, especially where the Lakers used to play?] (j/k)
  21. maybe they will finally explain why there isn't a Los Angeles area show scheduled yet....... it would be cool though if it was at Santa Barbara......
  22. I believe these to be the X&Y / Twisted Logic Tour (era) photos. If they are here somewhere else, I apologize for the double posting. :computer: [ They are X&Y era, before Coachella 2005 (for 2 reasons) ]: 1. While looking at Ave. 51 in Indio, California on Google Maps - you can see plenty of houses (new and old surround the Empire Polo Fields) - [where the festival is held] 2. Guy is wearing a shirt with the number 29 on it, there is a Spotlight 29 Casino (formerly Trump 29) within city limits in Indio, California
  23. update [new server for pics] [ once again enjoy those pics I was able to "uncover" back before X&Y came out, maybe I might try again for the new album, who knows :sneaky: ] photo #1 photo #2 photo #3 photo #4 photo #5
  24. sounds like the jibber-jabber "captain" jack sparrow was speaking in the 2nd POTC movie :smug::wink3::P

classic moments, "give back the camera or this door gets broken!" -- followed by a more asinine comment from a dickhead "you jerk! you're supposed to be a father!" --- the paps have no life, and this video just proves it. Sure, just because they're famous obligates you to stalk them to no end? you're dead wrong. I know it's a bit of acting involved because they expect a retaliation of some form so they can show everybody else how much of a "jerk" you really are. why don't they try to take pictures of me coming out of some public toilet inside a electronic store and see what my reaction is. hmmm? they are so full of shit, and that is what they get paid for. Harvey Levin and those asshats at TMZ get hard-ons from this crap. My only wish is that if it were the same situation again, but this time Chris is a 7'2" behemoth compared to a scrawny ass pap that barely reaches 5 feet.
