  1. Show #42/#43 adventures begin. Packing for DC now. Flight is early in morning. Why the hell I booked such an early flight I have no idea.
  2. Texasluvsjonny replied to Tash's topic in Coldplay
 Mr A luffs the huggie kittens.
  3. We've seen half naked Will, half naked Guy and half naked Chris. I'm holding out for fully naked Jonny. :sneaky:
  4. Chinatown Little Italy More pics here http://s602.photobucket.com/albums/tt109/ac040404/new%20york/
  5. Chinatown is awesome. As soon as you exit from the subway, there are tons of people selling knock off watches and bags. Lots of shops selling food with ducks and stuff hanging in the windows. All the signs are in Chinese. Then you walk just a couple of blocks over and you are in Little Italy. Lots of yummy places to eat with outdoor seating. Bakeries with off the hook pasteries and coffee shops. Eat in Chinatown, dessert in Italy, that's my NYC game plan.
  6. The Mirror is the UK equalivent of the National Enquirer so............ :dozey:
  7. Thanks Tash here are a couple of videos from last night. 8. Don't know how to make it show up as a slide show here. Don't care much for Flickr, but oh well.
  9. The Xylobands LOOK like Christmas lights, they didn't PLAY Christmas Lights.
  10. Wolf Gang Mike said my camera makes it look like I'm on stage with them.
  11. Show #41 done and dusted We sat right next to stage and I have some awesome pics, just a s soon as photobucket wants to stop being ****s, I'll upload them. Wolf Gang were again awesome. Robyn was again horrid. What opening act goes around using the band they are opening for closing song as their semi closing song. I just don't get her. She doesn't have an amazing voice, can't write songs. can't dance for shit and is no fucking looker so WTF people. How did she even get anywhere. I mean usually you need to have at least one of those going for you. Chris was so ready to go tonight. Hopping like a mad man before MX could even start. The band look so relaxed and like they are just having the time of their life. I think the would have fun even if no one showed up for the show. The people in the crowd just get so lost into the show. Hard core fan, casual fan, people drug their against their will.....they all just go mad for it. :D Before the show starts, during the final check by the roadies, the one that tests Chris' transmitter pack goes around the whole stage and makes sure that 1. we'll be able to hear Chris no matter where he roams and 2. there are NO pieces of confetti on the stage. He picked up, pushed off every single one he found. Which is crazy cuz in about 15 minutes, the entire stage will be buried under about 2" of the stuff. :P I have said it before and I will say it again, Will Champions beats the living shit out of those drums! The crowd didn't sound as loud to me tonight but I think that was just because of my location. Last night we were at the back on the floor and got a better mix from the crowd I think. Next stop Washington DC. The tour rolls on..............
  12. It's 110 fricking degrees in Downtown Houston right now.
  13. hey where are you sitting? Maybe we can meet before the show.
  14. Things about NYC I remember All the locals always look straight ahead or down when they walk, all the tourist are always looking up at the buildings. Lots of tulips. Since they were New Amsterdam to start off. Crazy drivers. Most the streets don't have lines painted to show lanes, not that any driver there would follow them any way. :P Signs at intersections saying "Don't honk" and everyone honking and signs on the streets saying "No Standing" That no matter what hour of day or night there are a zillion people out on the streets. There might not be a ton of cars or cabs at 3am, but look out any window and I promise you will see people! Lots of street venders. Either selling stuff (hats, scarfs, pictures, etc) , or food carts . OMG I hunt that Waffles and Dingus every time I go!
  15. Local radio always posts this pro's pics. http://rodryan.iheart.com/cc-common/gallery/photos.html?album_id=322810&p=19371441
  16. I thought it was funny that the ticketless seat location paper they give you at the door said Houston Rockets vs Coldplay.
  17. Back home. We had seats way at the back on the floor so view for me was nonexistant. But I had an awesome time. Miller was there setting some stuff up in the sound booth when we got there so we got to say hi to him. Then I got to talk with Marta again. She is the person running the big camera during the show. Then I went to talk to Dan Green. Told him I really didn't think they could have topped their Viva shows, but the xylobands looks so amazing. Then he said he can't believe how many shows I go to. :laugh3: I told him this was my 40th show. He said I should get in for free....yes please. He said he could get me into any show I wanted. :o Don't know if he was just bullshitting me but I'm gonna check into it. I told him Jackie has all my info. After the show, he gave me his set list. Yellow: mellow yellow intro  Thought the crowd sounded really good. Lots of singing. C Stage was on opposite side where we sat, but we walked over to get a closer look. Pic of Will is about the only one I took that came out worth a damn. We have better seats tomorrow night so I'll have more pics then.
  18. right now Jonny Buckalnd is less than 0.6 miles from my house. :dazzled:
  19. Is is disturbing that I know exactly where on the highway he was.
  20. There is a big convention in town and no hotels near the venue are available. The Hampton Inn on Old Spanish Trail is nice, a few miles away but easy walking distance to the train that brings you into downtown.
  21. :dazzled: from Friday in Dallas
  22. I took a love pic :awesome:
