  1. I don't think I'll be able to make it to any other shows because of other stuff I have going on. First time I saw them they were REM's opening act. That was maybe in 1995. March 1998 Houston and Dallas June 2001 Houston Oct 2003 Houston and New Orleans May 2008 Houston and Dallas March 2012 Houston, Dallas and Austin
  2. Dollores and Cents
  3. I have a boot of the Houston show if anyone wants, PM me for the link. I need to stop looking at the setlists. Lucky AND How to Dissapear Completely :bigcry:
  4. You could have scored bonus points if it was the squirrel Chris Martin fights in the Strawberry Swing video.
  5. Pfft Starfucker wannabe :smartass:
  6. All the shows I went to there was only 1 GA line. Doors open to everyone at same time. I had Ticketmaster and got to front row. It's not what tickets you have, it's how early you are willing to go down and wait on line that matters. Oh and everyone rushes to be in front of Thom. I calmly walked and got front row in front of Ed. People who would choose to be 5-10 rows back in front of Thom as opposed to front row unblocked vision in front of Ed are just a bunch of lame ass star fuckers and I hope some punk bitch in front of them shoves a camera phone in the face the whole show!
  7. No it was just a single GA line. WASTE peeps had actual tickets though and ticketmaster peeps had to scan their credit cards at the gate. If WASTE peeps didn't have hard copy tickets, then they had a voucher and went to box office and got their tickets.
  8. I didn't buy through waste but some people in Houston were talking in the line and the guy said he woke up and decided to just check and sure enough they were on sale. He said before 6am.
  9. Houston went on sale like 5:30 in the morning.
  10. Coldplay tickets price wise USA>UK Radiohead tickets price wise USA<UK That's kinda crazy.
  11. well at least coldplay have big screen so people at the back can see them. I don't see the purpose of those floating screen they use.
  12. *puts on Mod hat* It has come to my attention that people have been spamming Lore's thread with images of Thom Yorke. I was going to meet with the other mods to discuss what we should do about it, but most of the mods are the ones doing the spamming. So.... carry on. :P
  13. Having crap seat at tonights show pros and cons: pros Got ticket to show, lots of peeps didn't. I will be hearing Radiohead. Was able to sleep til 2pm. Weather is shit today and I can wait til doors open and walk straight in. Can drink and go to bathroom and stuff. cons Thom is already tiny, it will look like flea circus when he dances. Ed is tall but I can't see him from up there! I'm afraid of heights. Venue is near airport. Without blinking redlight hat, I could get hit by low flying plane. Those screens may look awesome in pictures, but a 4x4 screen looks like a postage stamp from up there. Get a damn jumbo screen or make some of those move together to form a jumbo screen! Hope that none of Austin's famous bats hang from the ceiling. :uhoh:
  14. A guy at the Radiohead show in Dallas got his ticket from one of the second markets. I asked him how they got around the scan your card / paperless tickets and he pulled out his prepaid mastercard they used to buy the tickets and then sent to him. I kinda wanted to punch him in the face. :veryangry2:
  15. Oh and in Dallas there was a guy in the PIT that had bought off a scalping site. I asked how they got around the scan your card thing and he pulled out a credit card and said they are buying the seats using the prepaid cards and then send you the card instead of a ticket. ****s! :veryangry2:
  16. US and UK had second level prices up the nose bleeds.
  17. Additional £6.50 in fees.
  18. Seems to me that he was raping and killing no matter what any government said or did so how just exactky have these people trying to stop him caused this? If I was one of those kids I wouldn't give two shits if the people trying to stop Kony were rich white kids who only wanted to pat themselves on the back. I would just want him stopped and for me to not live in fear. I'd gladly give them a pat.
  19. No. Didn't even go down there. Slept off my headache.
  20. Will be interesting to see what songs get cut for the broadcast. Fav comment of the night: Thom on "Orgy" - an old song that "had disappeared like a wet fart in the wind," now resurrected.
  21. you can follow TheOtherLeslie on twitter. She tweets all the info about what's going on before and during the show. TheOtherLeslie Leslie Nichols Thom Yorke is walking around here like he's a normal person #acltv
  22. I got my "event reminder" for Austin. Thank goodness these ticket sites send out emails that I have a Radiohead concert to attend because otherwise I would have forgot all about it.
  23. Well poop! I was hoping they would come back and headline the ACL Festival but October dates rules that out. Good for you, bad for us.
  24. So good. :awesome:
