Last time they played was the day after the hurricane. Hope that doesn't happen again.

Deciding on weather to do just Friday or Friday and Sunday. Arcade Fire and Elbow on Sunday. Soccer match in Houston on Saturday so that means a whole shit load of driving if I do the Sunday as well. :\

The band often donates things to charities for auction. But be prepared these things don't come cheap. You could try eBay. If you want something nice but reasonable, I would suggest one of the lithographs in the official shop and have it framed.

I had an awesome time. Got to venue at 4pm. Had planned to be there at 3pm but stoopid over turned truck caused chaos on the roads. (This is why I don't live in the suburbs!) No worries though cuz I was only person in line! :o Convened to beer delivery dudes to let me sneak in to pee. :lol: Since it's an outdoor venue, I could hear sound check. They played Girls Just Wanna Have Fun 6 times, Sprawl II, Keep The Car Running, Sprawl I, and a very grand arrangement of Happy Birthday. After sound check Tim came out through the gate where I was waiting. I asked him for a pic and he was really nice. He asked my name and told me "I'm Tim" I said Dude, I know who you are! :laugh3: I look really bad so just maybe look at him. :thinking: I got front row center. The space between the barrier and the stage was barely wide enough for a person. The pro photographers had a hard time. They had to pick a spot and stay put because it wasn't wide enough to pass a person. :D Two openers, Schmillion and Explosions in the Sky. Both were pretty good. Not The National good, but good. When Arcade Fire came out you could tell Win was excited about playing there. He said he used to work at the venue checking people's tickets. :stunned: Wonder if Win ever worked there at any of the shows I've been there to see? Win kept stepping out on the barricade where I was standing. He almost stepped on me the guy next to me the first time. If you think he's tall you should see him when he's standing almost on your head! :o I was so close he kept hitting me with either sweat drops or spit when he sang. I could clone him I took so much DNA home from the show! :P Regine wore cowgirl boots. :awesome: Will was extra dancey . He actually jumped out into the crowd during Rebellion. :laugh3: And the end of the show, Win and Will stood together and smiled and waved at some family in the crowd like two kids. It was so cute. :wacky: I got the tambourine thrown into the crowd during Wake Up. :D

If you are coming to the Houston show Do Not take 59 to getnorth. Over turned truck . Took me over an hour to drive from 10 to Hardy toll road! I'm the only person at the venue. They have sound checked Girls Just Wanna Have Fun 6 times and now doing Sprawl II

Oh and the last night in Chicago, some of the people that where there every night made matching ribbon things and when Regine started dancing with her's, they took theirs out and joined in . Regine was so excited. :D

What a long fucking weird day this has been. Really started yesterday with coming out before the show to sign autographs. I mean who does THAT? :P Then couldn't sleep late night so spent 2 hours buying Lolla ticket because their web site was crashing and it hates phones. :angry: Went to airport only 3 hrs sleep and when the announcement came that our plane would be at the gate in just a few minutes was made but the plane never showed but we could see it on CNN because it slid off the bloody runway, I knew it was all down hill from there. I have up some pics and stuff later, like maybe Friday.

I thought maybe you liked it because Win is wearing his Texas shirt. :kiss:
