  1. Led Zeppelin Uriah Heep in the early 70s The Byrds in 1967 The Beatles
  2. I don´t think I´ve got the right to call myself a fan but Led Zeppelin music belongs to the stuff I could not live without.:)
  3. Coldplay - Clocks The Mamas & Papas - California Dreaming John Miles - Music
  4. Don´t be scared now: Robbie Williams - Sing When You´re Winning ( I have to add it wasn´t me who bought it, was given by relatives) I even liked it...when I was 11!
  5. This one is great: Lay Down Your Weary Tune (version of The Byrds) written by Bob Dylan Lay down your weary tune, lay down Lay down the song you strum And rest yourself beneath the strength of strings No voice can hope to hum Struck by the sounds before the sun I knew the night had gone The morning breeze like a bugle blew Against the drums of dawn Lay down your weary tune, lay down Lay down the song you strum And rest yourself beneath the strength of strings No voice can hope to hum The ocean wild like an organ played The seaweed wove it's strands The crashin' waves like cymbals clashed Against the rocks and sands Lay down your weary tune, lay down Lay down the song you strum And rest yourself beneath the strength of strings No voice can hope to hum The last of leaves fell from the trees And clung to a new love's breast The branches bare like a banjo played To the winds that listened best Lay down your weary tune, lay down Lay down the song you strum And rest yourself beneath the strength of strings No voice can hope to hum
  6. Green Day music is so disgusting! I hate that "singers" voice. AND: As a Coldplay fan I´m surrounded by Green Day fans and none of them likes Coldplay, so I don´t have anyone around me to talk to.
  7. In my opinion, everyone loves the Beatles and those who say they don´t love them (at least a bit) just don´t know they do love them. :)
  8. ...the past has given us so much good music. (that´s my solace)
  9. Apart from the classic rock legends and Coldplay, there is not much good music anymore. But you can still listen to Coldplay and the music of the past. By the way, Bob Dylan and Sting agree with us. According to them, the music business hasn´t offered us good stuff for over 20 years.
  10. The greatest songs ever? That´s hard. Bob Dylan - Like A Rolling Stone Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven The Beatles - Let It Be
  11. Jethro Tull are great and Ian Anderson is a genius!
  12. I voted for the 70s. A lot of timeless music was released then.
  13. I don´t listen to German music but there´s one great song that comes into my mind: Die Toten Hosen - Unsterblich. (I´m not a Hosen-fan) At the moment, there is so much rubbish in the German single charts like singing children & mush music. I don´t want to turn on a normal radio station anymore! :dizzy2: :shifty:
  14. Led Zeppelin - Rock And Roll
  15. Stairway To Heaven, Rock And Roll, Tangerine, Whole Lotta Love, Immigrant Song. I don´t know which I like best. The Lyrics of Friends are brilliant but I haven´t heard it yet. :)
  16. Uriah Heep - Easy Livin´ The Byrds - Mr Tambourine Man Led Zeppelin - Rock And Roll Jethro Tull - Living In The Past The Byrds - Eight Miles High :D
  17. I watched Life on Mars and I really enjoyed it. Especially the music was hot (Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep or Louis Armstrong´s "Wonderful World" ). When I read it played in 1973, I knew I had to watch it because I love the music of the 70s. But after the first twenty minutes I was also interestet in the story.:)
