Paradise synth and sh*t
Sorry, but except for the intro it sounds awful. - Bass is completely out of sync and very incorrect. - Tempo is too slow - It sounds too empty, use more background strings or maybe at some acoustic/piano chords? - Completely lack of power wich it should have!

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
This means probably a lot about us(Dutch people). 1. Nederlanders komen ineens overal vandaan, alsof Nederlanders verstopt zitten en ineens met z'n allen tevoorschijn komen! 2a. Coldplay does a good job hiding it for 109 pages already.. 2b. Nobody really found it, or some posters do have it and just post a lot in this thread to make people think it took 109 pages already without a leak. 3. Coldplay fans are not patient enough to wait for the album release! So this all means: Dutch fans can't wait for the album so they nearly took over the whole thread wich is already 109. It can also mean: Dutch fans knows how to keep going and not give up on it, they keep on going till they found what they are looking for! I go for the last meaning! Obviously because I'm Dutch :P :sneaky: :uhoh:

Charlie Brown time signature
I'm not talking about any kickdrum. I'm neither pointing at Jonny's riff, I'm pointing at the rhythm(Chris's part etc.) there it just doesn't seem right in the first two bars of 4/4 - 2/4. I must say that the third and fourth does seem more right in 4/4. Maybe we are both wrong and they just put the first two bars together and the third and fourth in 4/4. It won't follow the correct pattern but it fits best. I mean: 12/8 - 4/4 - 4/4 and repeat

Charlie Brown time signature
Still it won't fit. In your sheet you say it's a full 4/4 bar(the Gm). However if you play it with the song and count it will not fit in 4/4. The Gm is played 7 times instead of 8, the downbeat is earlier. Listen carefully!:)

Charlie Brown time signature
And on what do you base that? On the sheetmusic 4x 7/8, 4x 4/4 looks lots better and the notes fits better. I've compared it with the 4/4 2/4 4/4 etc. Look here for the sheets: 7/8: http://stephanhondeveld.com/sheets/charliebrown.png 2/4: http://stephanhondeveld.com/sheets/charliebrown44.png They both are possible and both of them somehow fits: 3rd and 4th bar of 2/4 fits better for the lead guitar. However the 7/8 fits better for the rhythm guitar and the two first bars.

Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Chords
Dank je! :D

Charlie Brown time signature
The only place where I saw the correct time signature is in the first post. It is: 4 bars 7/8, 4 bars 4/4 and repeat. So: 7/8 | 7/8 | 7/8 | 7/8 4/4 | 4/4 | 4/4 | 4/4 Here is my tab/sheet: http://coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77191

Bass tabs for CB, HLH, UATW, MTM and MM
Yes it is much better than the average at UG! And so is your cover!

Bass tabs for CB, HLH, UATW, MTM and MM
Pretty nice recording you have there!!! My tab is based on the studio version but still I checked out live versions and Guy(not Chris :P) is still playing one octave lower. Not the exact way I made the tab but the notes however are correct(He slides from fret 12 E string downwards instead fret 7 A string.) Ofcourse he also might variate the string between A and E. [ame= ] [/ame] See 3:17 The way I play it sounds like the studio version. And also in my tab wich I did not wrote down: Second half of the interlude is played one octave lower live. Live they play it slightly different then the studio version, so to be able to play my tab I recommend to play the studio version instead.

Bass tabs for CB, HLH, UATW, MTM and MM
What happened with your chorus tab? It's an octave to high! I've made a tablature/sheet of the song wich is (to me) 100% accurate to the song itself. PDF download: (click here) @SeeYouSoon42 As approximately said. Us Against The World and Hurts Like Heaven are good songs to try by ear. Charlie Brown however has it's difficulity in it's time signature. first 4 bar 7/8, then 4 bars 4/4

So I painted my guitar..
Very cool!!!!! One of the better ones out there! :) May I ask, did you use lacquer at the end? If not, before you rewire your guitar.. get some lacquer(best is carpet lacquer) and spray it over all painted areas. There are a few reasons to do this and all for the better. Reasons like: It will look even better and more professionaly done, It will make a much longer life time and it will feel smoother when you hold your guitar.

The SCIENTIST COVER!!! WATCH!!
This is pretty good! I'd say that you could do something about the strength of your voice, it's lacking a bit of strength. The sound of your voice however is pretty good and not like an out-of-the-box voice.

VIVA LA VIDA COVER !!!!!! :D WATCH !!!
I just took a listen to this cover and was not surprised by it at all. The complete arrangement of this cover isn't so well. Tell the drummer to stop playing his hi-hat all over the song. It's way over the top and mostly irritating. Also, turn the the volume up of the guitar. The vocals are out of the singer's reach, try to expand the reach of the voice and try again without hi-hats, more guitar and better vocals. Also, try to keep the timing right wich is often very off. I'm not saying it's very bad, but according to the title it should've been a very good cover, what it's obviously not. With some changes it could be a lot better!

Chris's guitar
Some songs he still uses a Gibson Blues King(mostly Viva songs like Violet Hill) But I've seen in some video shots that he is using a Guild acoustic guitar. And maybe also Martin indeed.

Share Music You Or Someone You Know Has Made
Thanks for the critics! Incorrect World is one of the first songs I completed, I've made more versions of the song and picked the best one out of them. I have indeed used virtual instruments mostly. However I do use after research for years and years the best software on the internet so the quality isn't going under the real thing. Actually I've tried to record it on my real guitar but that didn't sound as nice as this version I have. If you listen to the song Smooth(see under) you'll notice it's much and much better. But Incorrect World will have the perfect place on my album(and another mix of the song) wich I cannot say yet. But that a lot is created with virtual instrument and mostly a MIDI keyboard doesn't mean I cannot play them. I've created three albums for free in the past 6 years only for research, critics and experience to make this album, my expectations are pretty high for the final record. I could post a whole thread about it(wich I might do) so don't mind my big post :uhoh: I like to share all of these things LOL About what you said about that, yes thats indeed! Tho I like to mix up styles and don't follow one sort of pattern. I write down everything that comes up in my mind. Thats why you'll hear some rock, pop and the song Smooth witch is Bossa/Latin! Smooth: [ame= ] [/ame]

In My Place cover by me..
If this is your first recording than it's actually even better! :) But still don't give up even if this song is at the top of your range. It will help you to increase your range instead of only singing songs that are in your range! Keep hanging in this song, keep recording untill you can sing it in tune without any problems. Even Chris Martin himselfs has this. Check the Viva la Vida(song) recording, and the first live versions. He had many troubles to get it in tune. However if you check the recordings from a later period the troubles disappeared. That doesn't mean it was out of his range but because there was probably a long period between the recording and playing live his voice was not trained well for the first gigs. That is also the reason of the secret and little gigs they play before the big shows. Don't give up. Sing this song at least once a day every day and record it 3 or 4 times a week. Keep the recordings and after 4 or 5 weeks after the start listen to the first and last recording, it should be improved! Than pick another song that is just on the edge of your range and keep on going. This will train your voice to be able to expand your range. Just sing every day, also when you listen music, just sing with it, even if it's out of your range.
