LULZ Existentialism is fascinating, The past few months of been reading almost nothing but Camus, Sartre, Kafka, Kierkegaard and Dostoyevsky. Mr. Yossarian, do you agree will Sartre's idea that, in creating one's life, one is also deciding an ideal life for everyone else, or was that just a half-assed attempt to incorporate his socialist leanings into existentialist philosophy?

Nothing that you haven't seen 50 times before. It's nauseating to see the same predictable plot from disney movies I watched in 2nd grade recycled to resounding success. Aesthetically the environments are gorgeous, but when the novelty wears off you realize the characters are transparent, the plot is contrived and predictable, and because of this I couldn't garner much empathy at all for the protagonists. Its exactly what you expect basically, a colorful, gimmicky, superficial blockbuster that, aside from the visuals, is neither interesting or original. Which is annoying because it distracts from that films that might actually have something new to tell.

Chuck, do you really care about communicating what's in your enormous head? Please, spoon-feed us lowly humans who are obviously unable to appreciate your expensively decorated proverbs. Because the only thing you seem capable of expressing lucidly with these abstract, romantic mutterings is arrogance and condescension derived from your own cloudy, esoteric ideals.

I disagree, there's not exactly much room for poets like emerson, whitman and thoreau in a world of computers. Besides, Emerson already did make the world a better place.

it's called Violet Horizon by Peter Wileman. Came across it previously because it's a. very popular b. bears a resemblance to the works of Clyfford Still, who I like.

Raising Your Voice...Trying to Stop an Echo - Hammock 6.7/10 Great beginning, and some really gorgeous tracks throughout, but the novelty dissipates a 3rd of the way through. There are little adjustments in the instrumentation, but it's not enough to distract from the fact you're being fed the same worn-out, spacy, reverberated textures and simple chord structures one track after another. Nonetheless if you like ambient shoe-gaze instrumentals, it's a definitely worth at least a partial listen.
