It only bothers me when people (some of whom I don't even know) go out of their way to tell me the band I obviously like a whole lot "sucks". That used to happen in high school with Dave Matthews Band. I think it's pretty rude, actually. I wouldn't say that about someone's favourite artist. Even if they did suck. ;) I've never had anyone tell me they hate Coldplay though. All my friends love them (and Travis), so we have cheesy sing-alongs in the car. Mostly folks seem to like what I listen to, once they hear it for themselves. Well, except for Bright Eyes. :rolleyes: I can't really blame them there; Conor Oberst's voice is very much an acquired taste.

:dozey: It's not that bad. I mean, I'm just sitting around, not doing anything. :idea2: Although throwing ice at my friends and family would definitely make me feel better...

I came back from camping with my friends this morning and missed my morning classes cos I'm a spaz -- I managed to fall and scrape/bruise my shin, and twist my ankle not once but TWICE!! Before 8am. :rolleyes: We also "lost" part of my dad's telescope... but one of my friends just unscrewed this one part that's supposed to slide out, so it was in the telescope the whole time. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Then we picked blackberries and all six of us crammed into one car with all our sleeping bags and pillows. Then they dropped me off, I cleaned up and went to my painting class, came home, napped, went to fiction writing and now here I am. :dozey:

sorry to interrupt the thread but I just had to say that David Gray is absolutely AMAZING. that is all David Gray is indeed amazing. :D Nelly, on the other hand, is not. Trash! Jack Johnson?
